I hope mr. commissoner of police can see this from the window of his office before passing this ISI mark law. These ISI helmet mark thing is all stunt for few days after that nobody cares but beware these pandu's will stop you and slap a case on you for any silly reason from month of feb to march (quota joh poora karna hai cases ka?)
Well, actually they couldn't enforce the rules on riders "without" helmets properly so they are changing tactic by going after riders "with" helmets. Soft targets I guess.

Wouldn't care if they are 200 or 500.
Don't compromise on your safety for such rules. It seems that this diktat is going to be a seasonal affair. Just skip known hotspots when they start 'drives'.

Congrats to the Harley Association for getting this written up in today's Times! Hopefully this will bring more pressure on the Transportation Administration to find a solution.

In case someone from Transportation is reading, my suggestion would be to issue a special ISI license for use on imported helmets, and would apply to any DOT/ECE/Snell/Australian/Japan safety certified helmet (the assumption being that any of those certifications is in all ways more stringent than the ISI, and therefore it can be assumed that it would also pass ISI). This would be applied by the importer either at customs clearance or upon distribution to retailers. Those of us with existing DOT/Snell/ECE/etc helmets or visitors with helmets they brought with them would bring it to either the local Transportation office or the Traffic dept for a sticker.
