When I first got to know that Jawa 42FJ has up to 42% more power than any other 350cc motorcycle in this category, I was glued to check it first-hand, and that’s how our journey through the coastal town of Udupi took a turn for the extraordinary as we got an opportunity to spend the day with the Jawa 42 FJ in the striking Mystique Copper colour.

Udupi’s winding roads were the perfect testing ground for the bike’s agility. Despite its commanding road presence and longer wheelbase, the 42 FJ remains incredibly nimble. The wider rear tyre provides exceptional grip on sandy coastal stretches, while the Assist & Slip clutch makes navigating gear changes feel relaxed and easy. Safety is clearly a priority, as the bigger disc brakes and dual-channel ABS offered superior braking confidence during our ride.

The ergonomics are designed for “Relaxed Riding”. Whether we were stopping at a local eatery or navigating through temple traffic, the flat plush seat and integrated aluminium footpegs ensured comfort for both rider and pillion. The swept-up exhaust not only looks great but provides a clean, deep engine note that complements the coastal vibe.
