#roadTripUnited First Meet: 17th December at Delhi Bikers Fest!

After the Flag Off from Motoziel on the 16th of December, it was time for the first meet up on the very next day in Delhi itself. On the 17th of December we partnered Delhi Bikers Fest in bringing together motorcyclists of Delhi under one roof, or in the case of DBF under one big open sky!

Delhi Bikers Fest is an annual event which has been on for the last 3 years and 2017 was the fourth iteration. It is a family friendly biker’s meet, where all feel welcome and there are activities for everyone to feel involved.

The xBhp Core Team who will be riding around India as part of the #roadTripUnited met up with the bikers of the city at the NH8 toll and rode together to the venue near Damdama Lake in Botanix Resort. This gives us motorcyclists the opportunity to enjoy a long ride together as well.

We thank UNO MINDA for bringing our passion to life with this amazing trophy that we will giving to each city as we travel!

At the venue, things got off to a fiery start, with the two #roadTripUnited Suzuki Hayabusas doing burnouts on the main stage. After which, Joshua, founder of DBF, invited Sunny on stage to introduce xBhp to the uninitiated and also the ride which we are undertaking. Deepa Malik, Chief Guest at DBF welcomed all the motorcyclists to the fest and all the members of the biking clubs present were called upon the stage.

The club members were asked to hold the ‘i the Biker | we the Power’ placards on the stage for a photograph, where we together symbolise the strength of motorcycling.

xBhp also had two stalls at DBF, where bikers came and visited us.  One stall was dedicated to the #powerTrip360 ride, where we exhibited photographs from that fantastic ride. While the other stall had everything about the #roadTripUnited, including free xBhp Magazines, posters, keychains and stickers for the taking.

We also had a photo booth, where our Suzuki Hayabusa and Indian Chief Vintage were displayed for people to sit and get their pictures clicked. Everyone loved having their pictures clicked with the magnificent Indian and the iconic Hayabusa.

Very many activities were there for the visitors, like Tug-Of-War, tattoo artists, tyre throwing competitions, scrumptious food and unlimited chai, the official drink for DBF!

After a fun-filled day it was time to head back home for the bikers. An enriching experience of seeing and meeting more than thousand bikers. We look forward to Delhi Bikers Fest in 2018!
