In the city of Falcons: Burdwan #roadTripUnited

Burdwan. The city that we fondly remember from our previous rides and eagerly look forward to whenever we start a new ride.

After a lovely G2G in Asansol and an impromptu meet in Durgapur it was time for the party to roll into Burdwan.
As always Falcon Motor Sport Club led by Shankar were our hosts. These wonderful bikers have put the city of Burdwan on the motorcycling map of India by uniting bikers and educating them in the ways of biking.
There were more than 100 riders assembled at the venue and forgave us for being late, since we took a detour at Durgapur. Another surprise was in store for us as Kaleem sir was also present, something which no one had expected, not even sir himself.
We interacted with the assembled clubs of the city and also a few clubs from around the place. We presented them with the ‘Note of Thanks’ and all the club presidents participated in the ‘i the Biker | we the Power’ photo opportunity as a show of unity. There was also a cake cutting ceremony.
Burdwan had recently lost two of their young riders to road incidents and we maintained a moment of silence in their memory. For those that we have lost, we ride some more.
After the meet there was a signature burnout on the Suzuki Hayabusa. With the end of proceedings it was time to head to Kolkata. But on the way we met up with riders from Singur, who brought a huge bagful of traditional bengali sweets for the team. We are extremely grateful to them.
After a very long day and 4 G2Gs, it was time for us to head to our Treebo hotel and get some much-needed rest before the Kolkata meet in Throttle Shrottle!
