If there is a religion its Biking.
If there is a bike its the S1000RR.

I can write poems for this bike, although I've never taken it for a ride. This is one bike which implores me to make career decisions so that I can afford one.

Recently I had lost hope on the S1000RR and started dreaming about the closest replica, the ZX10R.. hoping Bajaj would launch it for a affordable price.

But after reading your Ode to the S1000RR I am back to thinking what can I do to have enough money to make this Beauty of a Beast, mine.

Wonderful words there, all I am left with is envy.

That's easily the best review of the S1000RR that I've read in long long time, even better than Neeves in many aspects. Never seen it in flesh yet, but always knew it would be something of opus magnum, and after reading your review Ken Da, I'm etching to get a feel of it.

        Nice review,Ken.
If you have ridden the 2011'10R.Would you mind giving a small comparison?

I like the looks of the 1000RR-its very complicated & strange yet very simple in a weird way.
I still remember me not bothering to look at the MV Agusta F4 that was right next to it!

Thanks for your review Ken Da. Rating it a well deserved 5 stars.

Wish the RSV-4 Factory gets the same treatment from you.

And you know what? You say the looks grew on us? I say I loved them the first time I saw the bike! It's lovely...!

Asymmetrical fairing doesn't matter much as you'll only see one side at a time, whether its in pic or in flesh.

But I'd say that with its power, electronics, etc, the S1000RR is way more brilliant THAN it looks! And nice and informative review Ken bro.
            Thanks Samarth!

If you notice, the asymmetrical headlights is a common feature in most of their bikes! You will also see it here: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/first-im...tml#post643383

My take is this... please start taking career decisions based on the S1000RR! The sooner the better!

Thanks Sajal! That feels really good.

Go have a look at it in the flesh. You would not regret it.

Cannot compare with the 10R immediately.

This is a great bike! The Germans got serious this time and owned the Japanese bikes! And a great write up.

The first time i swung a leg over the S1000RR, it was a revelation of sorts. It is so light as compared to the Japanese litre bikes. It fit me like a glove!

Here's hoping that I will own it one day.

Enjoyed reading every bit of the impression! We want more SBK which are rider friendly (may be a noob friendly!) this one looks tobe in the same line. Wheelie control,........ other tid-bits makes it "an easy for a entry level biker" in 1000cc category.

Ken, I envy you from the farthest corners of my left ventricle and right auricle! You hop from one BMW to another as if you are switching fast-food joints for Sunday Brunch! But then again, the review of the S1000RR, this review of the S1000RR is just brilliant, just like the one for the K 1300

I have just read about this fantastic piece of machine, and from the features and ratings it got, I think a liter class to trump this one, is yet to be made.

Good going..no wonder the "one" hasn't been started in a while

Not for nothing is this at the top of the BOTY awards for two years consecutively.

Lets see who gets top honours next year.

I liked the write up from Ken da. Clear and concise. Brings out the awe from within.

I liked the photos as well. They give a clear view of the bike rather than from some weird angle.

I keep wondering if i will ever get a chance to saddle up a S1000RR. especially having zero access to anything beyond 220 CCs. Hope i do though.
