No test drive in chennai. Relying on the KTM quality. The showroom guy told that the test drive will be available in 5-10 days as the vehicle for display hadn't got the RTO clearance yet.Originally posted by J K View Post

Well I was able to book among first few, expecting to get it early.
I was there! I was given the 1st number to book when the systems opened. But fate had planned other things for me - and had to be pushed down by a couple of numbers
Nevertheless booked it!
Booking amount has been reduced from 30k to 20k and there is 3k deduction on cancelling.
Hope deliveries start soon!

I live in Surat, Gujarat.
12 bikes have been booked here,so far.
Not much enthusiasm was seen when I went to have a look at 6 in the evening. There was NO-ONE present other than that least bothered and lil knowledged salesman. He was yawning all the while.__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _______

I guess its only in metros that KTM would attract lot of buyers except for towns like Gudgaon (merc capital of India) ... On the contrary Pulsar would leave a mark almost throughout India !

tank shape issue
yesterday i went to see the bike here in goa. thanks to your postOriginally posted by princesirohi View Posttoday, i went to pune probiking showroom to check out the KTM200. i am impressed by the bike- look, feel, style, exhaust note etc. but sadly, it is not for me. for me it felt a bit small, the knees were hitting the knee recesses, so may be guys upto 5'10" are fine but anybody above that and knees will hit the tank. also if you are big on size like me at 6' and 95 kgs, KTM is a bit small. and a waiting period of 90 days.
i was aware of the tank shape and you are absolutely right, for me it just fits. i am 5'9". anybody taller the knees might touch.
anyway, the only think i did not like about the bike is the shape of the tank. on all the pictures of the bike on the net i had not seen a single picture from the tank from top so i was a bit surprised that it is so bulky. it looks somehow odd and more like a enduro bikes tank. also it looks rather big and then on the other hand it has rather less capacity which is not so nice engineering.

Yes it is completely Indian made bike. Even the KTM200 which are exported to EU nations is manufactured here in Chakan.Originally posted by bhadoriabtp View Postwhat is real position of bike.it will be totally indian made bike or engine will be imported and rest of bike will be made in india.what is its position.if it is totally made in india why we should not go for new pulser at cheaper rate.
