What Honda promised was a 'Significantly lower than 1.5 lac' pricing for the CBR250R. The price they sold the first CBR was 1.57 lac (At least in MH).

Anyways, what RB said was, the 200NS will be 'less than 1 lac'. With an ex-showroom price of 85odd k and OTR price of 94.xxk, they have delivered to their promise much better than Honda did.

Also, even the Pulsar 220 costs more than 89,999 in most places, how can you possibly expect something like the 200NS (with more power, refinement, better handling and tires) to be priced lower.

Thats obviously your option to choose. No questions on that.
However directly saying that you do not like the price of 200 ns.. is not right, i guess..
I mean, how much lower quote can you expect??

While every one have their jaws dropped and have almost forgiven bajaj for the delay, you are the only odd one out.
Comparing the price of 200 NS with Duke 200, Its almost 35000/- less. With that price difference, you can almost get another entry level bike.
    Think about it.... and wisely!!

    Hey thanks MG.
Last night was informed by an Xbhp-ian through SMS that Pulsar 200 NS has been launched @ OTR 99220/- in Maharastra.
Today searched the net and found out that only the Pune dealers are accepting booking telling the OTR being around 94k/-. However the news wasnt quoted in any of the trust-able auto sites.
Also since could'nt find any official words from the BAJAJ stable, so not 100% sure abut the news!!!

Also MG, you said that the KTM dealers(earlier PRO-BIKING) wont be selling 200NS.
However one of the net site states that KTM dealer @ Pune are accepting Bookings. Can you please confirm about the whole thing..

It may make more sense for you not for all. I would prefer P200NS even if the difference is 20K. I have my reasons for it. With Bajaj you get huge country-wide network, good ASS, maintenance would be much reasonable compare to D200. Also I dont see much benefit... just slight more power, lighter body and hassle-free cold starts. But you also get much better street-fighter looks and better FE (as every auto-expert says). Bajaj rocks
