The wheel allignment was concked. The handlebar refused to turn at low speeds (read 1st gear). The bike seemed very heavy on potholes, bad suspension methinks.
But I blame the owner. He had indeed abused (read raped) it well.

Yup it is rock solid even at 125kmph because I have driven one upto that speed and it still felt confident and glued to the road. It is also one of the most common bike used by xbhipans in mumbai and I assume across the country for touring as well as city use. The only thing keeping me from purchasing this bike is the fact that there is a better bike coming out...

No I dont regret it since I was Fairing Crazy and wanted within 80k on-road Bangalore (You know Bangalore is the most expensive) so I didnt' have any other option other than Stunner. Its not new now, 7 months old. I miss the performance but I don't regret my buy since the handling of the bike and looks are better than my other options. P135, SZ-R, P150, GS-150R were my other options but none of them came with half-fairing. P220F & Fazer were expensive. But the comfort of the bike I miss in these 150cc machines. And the handle is so light becz of fairing. And refinement is also superb. Looks were my main criteria. Would have been happy though if Stunner came with 150cc engine. But still for city commuting Im quite satisfied with the handling and comfort it offers along with the superb looks.

The head assembly noise is due to a loosely bound connector beneath the console; a 10 minute rectification job. This is not observed on all Dukes...its just a few that suffer from this. Coolant leakage is a one off...of all the Dukes that I have seen and know, this is not an observation. The petrol lid again is a one off.

Yes yes, I read those points too.

I'm btw surprised by the real world FE claims. 34-38kmpl so far.
200cc with 25horse is a stressed engine and such FE figures are commendable.

I'm more keen on R15, however. My (irrational?) love for fairings and (fanboyistic?) love for Yamaha.

Wonder if there was anything spoken of a faired Duke (not p200fs)..

    .
simple reason.i am not ready for a long-term ownership of duke.
if i buy duke now.2 years down the lane i can't think of owning ninja as i already own a premium segment bike, the case is different with utter vfm pulsar.
