i was just wondering if BAL would have priced it that way, it might have increased the future sales.

btw, when is the full ride report by xbhp coming?
Pls don't be in a catch 99 situation. Common this is a great VFM.

Had BAL launched it for sub 80k, then also someone wud have said, "make it below 75k, in the range of 150cc bikes"

Pls quote only the relevant part while posting. I had to page down > 20 times on my laptop to come to the end of your post, imagine the pain to those who access xbhp through their mobile phones

Delhi on road price is 94280 where as in Pune/Pumbai it is 99200(almost 1 lakh) and with the fact that its manufactured at Pune(Chakan) .
Its like the oranges are costlier in Nagpur itself and cheaper in other part of the country
94280 is Pune OTR price. Delhi will, in all probability, be cheaper.

The news about the price was revealed on motoroids.com with a price chart of the bike and even a test ride with pictures... It was a guy named Deepak Dongre... Maybe bajaj did a soft launch to check the initial response....
p.s. The bike is being spotted by me twice in kolkata...once i was in a running bus and two ns overtook it quite fast..atleast more than 80-90kmph...so couldn't click a picture... And yesterday i went to buy a helmet at wellington and saw a guy coming and parking the bike in a small by-lane away from the main road...i went there and enquired and he said he was a bajaj guy... Didn't disclose anything more... I asked for a ride and he refused but he let me sit on the bike and start the engine...
Overall quality is top class, engine butter smooth...somewhat like that of the r15...revved it in neutral and the needle climbs quite fast...exhaust sound is a mix between the earlier pulsars and the ktm duke but its awesome... Looks smashing...mainly the headlight and the tank... The worst part for me is the handlebars...felt like a toy...proper design needed... Unfortunately my phone is in service centre and from the last 3 days i have been using my old spare nokia 1100...so again couldn't take pictures... But i still tried to call up shibadip(bhpian) while i was standing there to give him the news... Hoping for kolkata release soon...dealers are saying it will arrive before month end...

Watch this video for the very first review of the CBR250R, straight from Thailand. And as for your query Go Directly to 5:54 and hear it from the Boss's mouth. Just a *slight* correction on my part. He didn't say 'Significantly less than 1.5Lac Rupees'. But he did say 'Far less than 1.5 lac Rupees'.

P.S.: This particular post is OT in this thread. Users please refrain from turning the discussion towards CBR.
