@Rohan: were the vibes felt so strongly while riding also? I believe if you rev while stationary the vibes will definitely seem more prominent...Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Posti was shocked too .. its definitely more than rtr ... why should the perimeter frame vibrate ?

dude you are the most negative person on this whole forum. Rai ka pahad banana is perfect fit for you. I am planning to purchase it , but if I keep listening to you then I wil not be able to buy it .. Seriously man grow up and stop complaining. Every bike has got drawbacks. Read the forums for r15, cbr250, cbr150, There is definitely something or the other that one has to complain about, But the things get sorted out. You make a small problem look very BIG and life threatening. Please drop this approach of yours .Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Posti got a chance to ride it for a fair distance .. i redlined it twice .. tested at high revs , mid revs and low revs too . traffic was pretty dense but still i managed to ride it insanely for some distance ...these are my observations ..
first the good bits :-
-- the engine is very smooth .. ( unicorn territory )
-- revs up very nicely and quite quickly too .. ( r15 type )
-- gear shifts were absolute delight ... loved it ... smooth and light with the right amount of click feedback ..
-- clutch is light and easy
-- riding position is super
-- rider seat is very big .. pillion seat is big too ..
-- acceleration is good but not best ..
-- looks handsome in flesh ..
-- tacho is quick to respond to the revs .. unlike earlier pulsars ...
-- braking is too good ..
-- the engine is in silent mode until 5000rpm ..
now the bad bits :-
-- the vibes are alarming from foot pegs , handle bar , side panels ... i thought that rtr had the highest vibes but this thing beats it in vibes dept in a bad way ..
-- the perimeter frame also has quite a bit of vibes ..
-- vibes start from 6000rpm and gets alarming after 7000rpm ..
-- vibes were verified by both me and another xbhp member .. the bikes were brand new and were freshly brought out from the stock yard in front of us .. we were the first bunch of guys who got to ride it .. there were 2 test ride bikes ,, black and blue .. we tested both bikes for vibes and to our fear ,, it was the same ...
-- it was ridden only for a short time before me and i could feel the engine heat from 10ft away .. i could smell burnt engine and also it had some fumes coming out ..
-- the bike heats up more at the left side .. i got my left thigh roasted ..
-- the bike feels heavy for zig-zag traffic riding ..
-- rider seat is very wide and this makes it difficult for shorter guys ..thighs have to go wide from the seat for the feet to reach the ground ...
-- the rear foot pegs and the alluminium bit which holds the foot pegs are very weak .. it will flex sideways with very little effort .. it will eventually break if a heavy person gets on quickly..
-- the engine is powerless before 5000rpm ..
-- power is felt after 6000rpm and you get treated with a massage on your arms , thighs and feet post 7000rpm ...
-- i was expecting wheelie when i redlined it on 1st and 2nd gears but it didnt happen .. ns is not an advisable upgrade for p220 owners .. it is not entertaining enough ...
-- roll on acceleration is bad at low revs ... roll on acceleration is quite ok at mid revs but it will not give the KICK AT THE BACK kind of feel ...
-- note that the engine is very smooth only before midrange ..becomes harsh towards top revs and whole body vibrates ..
i really dont know why the vibes were kept hidden in all reviews .. these were fresh new bikes and was verified by me and another xbhp member on both bikes ...

Rohaan200NS you have been called out!!Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postnow the bad bits :-

I have been reading about you cribbing about every small thing about NS since the beginning of this thread and the "review" you wrote out above irritated me so much that I locked by comp, went down and started my NS, took it to a straight, revved it twice and took off.
I was touching 100 in no time and believe me all, the thread readers...
You feel nothing on your legs!! Absolutely nothing!!
All you feel is that rush and the beautiful sound the engine makes post 5k RPM...that smooth hum...
Really? 10 feet away?...Really??Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Post-- it was ridden only for a short time before me and i could feel the engine heat from 10ft away .. i could smell burnt engine and also it had some fumes coming out ..
You bloody ruined that brand new engine and for a wannabe who acts like you know a lot bout bikes, you know nothing!!
Do you really think you look cool by doing this?
As someone on this thread already told you...you need to get a life dude!!

@Rohan200ns: A brand new bike being redlined shows what you've done with the bike. If you've managed to do anything, it's that you've successfully managed to ruin others test ride experience.
And btw,Im no bajaj fanboy here but new bikes are bound to have some roughness, the engine does heat up quickly and the way you've exaggerated it makes me wonder. Let the owners speak of problems they're facing, if any...PeaceLast edited by srini; 07-17-2012, 07:33 AM.It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

Though i doubt some of the claims of Rohan200NS but IMO redlining a TR bike is no crime. After all they are meant to be abused by auto journalists/prospective buyers.Originally posted by srini View Post@Rohan200ns: A brand new bike being redlined shows what you've done with the bike. If i am buying a capable bike for redlining most of the time then i will surely do the same during TR. Shouldn't I?
But still heat from 10 feet is
I can't buy this story
Contribute to the environment.

Hi Sombikas, Congratulations for your stunning ride!!Originally posted by sombikas View PostGuys..I got my pulsar NS 200 on sunday....(15th July)...
Much excited..and a wonderful bike...No heat from 10 feet away....Like a member told....
Bike is smooth even at 2nd gear.....less sound and more power from 4th gear...

That member got a damaged test ride vehicle and yes there were alot of negative exhagerrations so no need to concentrate on that. between do post pics on P200NS ownership thread since you are an owner. Also kindly update your location so that we know where you got the bike delivered. And is this your 1st bike?Whats there in a signature?

EXCELLENT Work there U guys.
Leme Share that the day it arrived in Delhi, Im its 2nd buyer.
The bike is amazing, i've done 3200 Kms till date, I'm not sure if the bike would do better with FI but this is sure shot amazing.
I agree to the fact that DUKE 200 is Sharp, very Sharp, close gear ratios can be felt if demanded, But NS got its Own USP to rule the indian roads.
A trip to Kasauli or probably Chail is lined up 1st week of sept. Will post Pics soon.
Ride Safe.

Whats wrong with you Rohan.. Pulsar 200NS ownership thread also you did the same thing.. but ended up getting insulted by many of the xbhp members..Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Post@crashoverride -- dude the black ns was brought out in front of us freshly from stock yard ...
Rohan.. did any one asked you for your inputs?? what do you want to prove??
You have purchased your DUKE after getting bashed from so many people.. are you ever going to stop cribbing about it??
Hey Guys.. Rohan had taken a test drive of the bike almost a month ago.. and he did post his review for which he was take for a ride by fellow xbhp members.. after which he bought DUKE... I have nothing against Rohan.. but the way he misguides people.. that is really bad..
P.S: Rohan.. if you really want to prove urself as an exp. guy, who has a lot of knowledge about P200NS.. stop cribbing about it.. and help people instead who face the issues... this is not a bikers spirit ROHAN.If you have never done a mistake in your life, it means you have never tried anything new.

Don't listen to him.. this is what he does.. he has done it in a prev. thread as well.. where he was scolded for this kind of attitude..
P200NS is very good bike.. i would personally recommend you to go for it..
you have 23BHP with 40+ mileage in city, the best techonolgy in india atleast.. and it is better than any of the pulsars in the past.. you can go for it blind folded.. im also planning to buy it in couple of days... cheers../If you have never done a mistake in your life, it means you have never tried anything new.
