i haven't seen any upgrade within 6 months.they upgrade when they feel it's time.
atleast it is better than limited edition sticker gimmick played by other companies.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
      #overkill is underrated.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

I got a call from Punjab Honda in Ahmedabad saying its 1.3 lakhs on road (cbr 150r)
Although I will go for the Pulsar 200ns when it comes out.

Pravin I wrote that @antz.bin informed that MRF Zappers might do the job on the Production versions and also TVS Eurogrips are not that bad as they are known for. Its true they wont suit for touring or racing purpose but OK for the city.
But Im very surprised by the self-cancelling indicators. Thats a basic feature. No expense. Earlier versions had it. Every bike has it nowdays. Still can't believe it. Will have to see the production models.

Overdrive has tested Duke in their March issue as well... that makes for an interesting buy too!!

            Happy Riding :-)
            Ur most welcome Pravin.

              .
it is not a basic feature,it needs a sensor which can go kaput.
i was not a big fan of that feature, sometimes it wouldn't turn-off after a hefty 1 minute of taking turn, now that is irritating.

Some ppl will go for it. But the no. will be very few so he is not wrong in analyzing the sales of CBR150R would be too less. Its not a rocket-science to say that rather a common sense. R15 is almost 10k less and P200NS is almost 27k less so ofcourse many ppl wont go for CBR150. One interesting data about CBR250 was that it was selling 2.5k to 3k per month and after the close launch of D200 its sales dropped to below 140 units.. so CBR150 will sell albeit very less.

One compaint that I have, Bajaj fans plz excuse me, is that Bajaj bikes are literally upgraded every 6 months!! On the positive side... it gives customers their very best every 6 months..... but at the same time the existing owners will be disappointed and would be kind off let down.. Im sure within 6 months of Pulsar 200 NS, there would be a Pulsar 200 FS and then another upgrade in 6 months... That means literally an NS user, buying today, would be feeling a little left behind in a year... Dont know whether its a good feeling though... Well, this was just my view... nothing to generalise...

                    Happy Riding :-)
Though I agree with u but the P200FS would not be an upgrade but a new variant. It would also be priced 5-10k more than the P200NS so the P200NS dont need to worry. They can use the 10k in buying riding gears, helmets and refueling their tank

so self cancelling indicators is not the push button off indicators we have in normal bikes these days? Its something like cars where the indicator turns off after turn?

that's because of thai flood, lower rate of components supply,so less production.
cbr will sell in good no.,trust me on that,it is going to eat into 250's sell,r15's sell.

moto89 tyres are not a problem for this bike. Even if it came with Eurogrips (gen Bajaj bikes come with Zappers) still u have showroom option of buying soft-compounded(sticky) tyres instead of the normal tyres. These soft-tyres would have amazing handling and control.

no push button,it has sensor.push button is such a basic mechanism you thought bajaj would skip that.

I could but sry I can't. DOHC over SOHC and 1bhp is not big gain. It also lacks the dual headlight assembly of R15. and 10k(on-road) is not a small difference. Im suppose its price could be dropped by 5k if it fails to meet expectations. Lets see the sales. Discussn on this matter is not worth.
