The 200NS is all set to become a legend in itself, because it's not just enough to have a genes of a legend, it's equally important to have the act of a legend, and act is what the 200NS delivers.

On the braking department, the ByBre setup provides amazing braking performance both front and rear and one has to get used to this kind of braking in this kind of motorcycle. The motorcycle comes with the regular rubber pipe brake hose, which does the job absolutely perfectly, but I've personally upgraded mine to steel braided brake lines which gives that extra strong bite when the need be. I'm a believer of the philosophy that you should have your resources at your disposal and might not use them, rather than not have them when the need be.
Excellent write up and review report..

Could you please help out with few more details on teh steel braided brake lines!!!
Could you please let me know if the rear is a direct fit from the duke and front a direct fit from the 220?? If not what jugaad would be required??

        Thanks in advance..
PS: Tried sending you a PM but ur inbox is full it seems & you'll have to clear few stuff there..

        • tire problem

Hi friends, I also have a 200ns. my problem was that the tires were not keeping the hold on the road. So I changed the rear tire to that on yamaha fz, the mrf revz-c 140/60/17. After that when i was cornering, felt that bike was going in too deep in front. So I wanted to change the front tire to mrf revz-fc of 110/70/17 that come on on ktm duke. Since that was not available I went for pirelli sport demon 120/70/17. Now iam feeling the bike is heavy in front. The grip is far better but it feels heavy. I want to know if i can do something to rectify the problem and maintain the current performance of the bike.

          • masking tape residue

guys i want to remove the glue residue left by the masking tape on the tank,,,,, any advice????

            • use kerosene or any spirit and a cloth and rub on it...it worked for me but some residue still remained. then i used wd-40. works like a charm and it gives a nise shine but that is due to the lubricant left behind on it.

Apply regular cooking oil on the tape marks with your fingers and leave it for few hours ,you can then easily wipe out the dissolved residue .

                    • Hello guys,
I own a Pulsar 200 NS, i have done more than 2000 kms on it. Just wanted to ask to other NS owners.. does your bike vibrate a lot when you cross 5 -6k rpm in 6th gear? I am not sure, but i am getting a feeling that when i cross speeds of 70kmph my bike vibrates much more than expected. I had read that approx 100kmph is the cursing speed for the NS. Even when i am riding with som1 on the back seat, it feels bit strange.. like the feeling one gets when you rev more than expected in the 1st or 2nd gear.
should i consult the service center, my 2nd servicing is due in another 2k kms. does this have to do anything with the oil level or something.. i had checked the oil, it seems ok.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS carries a pressed steel perimeter frame together with a clip-on type handle bar that offers better handling over a much longer lifetime. Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is the first motorbike from the Bajaj clan to carry this technology. Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is the nest generation bike of legendary Pulsar series bikes, the bike is not only have next gen looks and styling but also the engine and technology.

                            • The Pulsar 200 NS no doubt is a very good bike but it looks like a low cost cousin of the KTM duke 200.

Path of glory, if you are rich and able to handle all the future hikes in petrol price then you can buy. I heard that it gives only 25kmpl and its price in Hyderabad is Rs 1 lakh inclusive of everything. Its not that Pulsar cannot make top end bikes what matters is how many can afford it and how many can survive road accidents with these incredible beasts.
