That only Im saying I coudnt believe how can it happen. Its too long ago I drove a new pulsar. Is the self-cancel feature like cars... I mean turn off automatically after the bike turns.. its something difficult to implement on bikes. Had a thot about it though recently on my own.Originally posted by sayank10 View PostWhats there in a signature?

But it's not that way at all, it's the other way around, both these bikes are being marketed as sports tourer(with the good high end power of the 150R, it most probably will be) the 250R would be kind-of eating into the 150 sales, unless somebody does not want such a powerful bike, like my father won't allow anything over 200cc(Just an exampleOriginally posted by Raphieie View PostThis is the reply i got from Bajaj Pulsar official FB page.

). When I saw the new R15's reviews many people stated that at 30-40k more you could buy the CBR250r, and yamaha cunningly increased the price of the new bike just to maintain the balance, and be content territory and not stretching it's luck too much. But the CBR150 if priced at 1.35 will be breaking the rubberband here by pricing it at this price.
But now what we would have to look out for would be that how does it compare with the new pulsar. And even if it is better, are people ready to pay that large premium to go for the CBR150?
@Reply from bajaj:Well it's almost summer so it would be coming out any time now...

I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

dohc over sohc is not a big gain then what is big gain?Originally posted by Enthusiastic View PostI could but sry I can't. DOHC over SOHC and 1bhp is not big gain. It also lacks the dual headlight assembly of R15. and 10k(on-road) is not a small difference. Im suppose its price could be dropped by 5k if it fails to meet expectations. Lets see the sales. Discussn on this matter is not worth.
it is not just a matter of 1 bhp, look at what rpm the peak power comes, atleast for me that is a point to rejoice.
those who ignored r 15 for pillion comfort will go for cbr.
those who loves fairing would choose cbr over duke.
those who are into track-racing would prefer cbr .
although overpriced it will sell in good no.and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

IMO Indian version of CBR150 is significantly detuned, so I don't think it makes a lasting impression on performance enthusiast when compared to the likes of Duke, which is available at the same price. On track, Duke's raw power coupled with it's handling just knocks out CBR150. So, I don't see anyone going for it on track. Tourer.. yes, those who want protection from fairing could go for it. I doubt that it sells in good numbers.. there is P200FS around the corner.. i'm sure Bajaj will break the back of Honda with that one, coz nobody can match Bajaj in pricing.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

OK...here goes the Govt. budget (as far as bikers are concerned)...bOOm!
And thats not a happy boom...its a little sad one. Hike in excise duty for cars (in the bigger range) is for 2%...the whole thing isnt clear yet. So expect the excise duties on bikes to rise too.
Govt. declares budget > Excise duty hikes > Prices of motorcycles go up > and the common biker is again struggling to purchase his dream machine!!
What a bummer!

The new CBR 150R has been brought about to compete with the likes of Yam R15 only.... Im sure Honda's intention is not to sell the bilke at say 5000 units a month... Infact I wont be surprised if 150R sells lesser than 250R consistently....Originally posted by Horror View PostNo the price is not yet official, but many people are saying that the showrooms are claming this price. Honda and Yamaha being the no.1 and no.2 on the international stage.. Have just made sure they have bikes of international class in India's favourite cc segment, the 150s thats all....
Yam R15 doesnt even sell half as much as FZ and the FZ doesnt sell even half as much as the new SZ.... So just sales is not their intention... Its about having the flagships in place for their lower models like CB Unicorns, Dazzlers, Shines and Stunners to sell well.... Its just mind games thats all.... I think its a good move from Honda even at that price...
Well comming back to our hero here... the Pulsar 200 NS.... now this would be the bike of a typical performance minded Indian.... So it would lead a segment mainly the sub 1 lac performance (more than 150s)segment and therefore BAJAJ would be hoping for the new Pulsar to reiterate its predecessors tremendous sales track record....
Happy Riding :-)
