What would be the cost to change my black fz 16 to the one like anniversery edition. Can optimum sticker work be enough.

Well as all said(all will)...its the most beautiful looking motorcycle ever introduced in Indian Market and i am proud owner of it..

I had crossed 14000 km and never felt any hint of disadvantages.....yeah!! yeah!!..except for F1 and 200+cc...but we can neglect some of those for lot of good things rt??

Ride comfort and road feel is incomparable..and like sunny bhai said,140 in back will tempt u make corner in the most difficult roads too...

Hello, I'm Jo from Indonesia. Maybe some of you had known about an issue that FZ16 will be released in Indonesia with codename Yamaha Byson. I like this bike so much, look strong and powerful. But I want to ask a few thing about this bike.

- First of all, what is the main problem after using this bike?
- I'd like to know where is FZ16 Modification Forum site? I want to see some of FZ16 modified.

Free services for my FZ16

Sorry if this post doesn't belong here but i need help urgently. I'm from bangalore. I lost my owner's manual unfortunately. Finished my first free service some 2 months ago. Now, all free service coupons and bike warranty card, everything is on the owners manual right? So what to do for next 5 free services? Will they give me another owners manual on request?

Also, pls clarify if the second free service is 3 months from date of purchase or 3 months from date of last service? Because if its from 3 months of date of purchase, then i'm running close to finishing it in 3 days.

BTW, update on performance oils for engine, it really feels much better, smooth and ride quality is improved. Mileage around 45 kmpl or more.

dont know about the replacement service manual but yeah the 3 months is from the purchase date and NOT the service date...

only about the milleage gives somewhere around 40-45kmpl....
apart from that no problems at all....

as for modifications try googling it...

I wanna know more about the <=50 kmph rule.. As i had got my bike last week
and at times I have crossed 5k rpm and speeded upto 70-90 kmph..
.Any problem with this????

2. I noticed that the engine heats up after say about an hour of operation.
It heats up and I can feel d heat and some burnt Oil like thing after I stop the bike ...

please help... and yr comments on dis 2 points...

Nice review.The FZ16 with a little more power would definately help.

My Eclipse-Yamaha FZS Black Green

Hi ,to fellow Xbpians....i was a constant follower of XBHP for past 6months, read all the comment of thread for FZ16.

Was really impressed with all the opinions and comment .
Finally booked my FZS black Green on 6th Dec 2010 and after a 2 month wait got the delivery of my babe on 11Feb 2011.

Along with FZS also order some accessories like Crank case cover,LED Stop light, and LED position light. The LED stop light are gorgeous in the night.

As i am prominent member of a Riding group in mumbai valiant-Riderz we ofter tour around maharashtra once every month. hence i also got HID's with projectors fitted on the FZS which was very tiring and cumbersome as the from the Glass of the Headlight assembly is glued . wasted my stock headlight and it broke during removal of the Glass cover. Bought one more Headlight of Lumax and gave it to a local mechanic to open up and finally got my HID with Angel Eyes fitted.
Now My FZS is an eye catcher for most bikers around Andheri West for the Blue Angel Eyes !!

Thankz to all XBHPians for helping me choose the correct vehicle, as FZ is best in handling ,braking, cornering and power !!

Clocked 60km/hr as the top speed yet, following 4500RPM. Completed 300km in 10days !! looking forward for my ride to lonavala on 5th March !!
