    I did some research on the backlight of consoles may it be digital, analog or digi+analog. In most bikes its normal bulb that glows the analog units in night. But in bikes having digital or digi+analog units, they use a thing called 'electroluminescent panel' aka EL Panel. Its a thin paper like sheet of semiconductor that glows when powered with electricity. THey come in dfferent colours- orange, blue, white. Its used in almost every car & superbikes and Indian bikes like Pulsars, FZs, GS150R, R15, Apache, etc.

      Thanx a lot man to know about the details... and is there any way to change it to different colour... how can it be done... pls reply... i liked those blue colour badly... and what will be the cost... and is there any probs in changing it???

        You will have to change EL panel to blue colour.. Just google man there are some websites they sell it. Dnt know if it can be easily changed.

            hey guys my FZ-S is out of its run in period & i wanted to know what i can do to get more power from it, like filter change or tuning or change the carb setting a bit

                  i just wanted to know if there was away to get more juice from it & kriss if you don't know the answer just own up and say you don't know or better still keep shut, there is no need to be sarcastic.

                      guys there is nothing wrong in being a bit sarcastic..a light hearted comment on a public forum is acceptable...he is NOT "abusing" other bikes...if you people cannot take a simple joke then i guess its your fault...go through few other forums/topics and you will see the way people talk here..no one takes offence....dont know what triggered you two to think/say like this

                      As for extracting more "juice" from your new bike,then its better advised to hold on for few more kms of riding before playing around with your engine...it has just completed its running in,so that doesnt mean that its ready to be modded....
                      You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........
