Yamaha FZ 16 Real Naked Bike

3 and a half out of 5 for me. The bike scores one for the look, and two for the overall ride experience. The half is because i did not get to check the bike's full performance potential. And the one whole point lost for not having a bigger engine which the tires could justify. I did not go to the yamaha factory showroom. I got this test ride from an authorized yamaha dealer.Originally posted by chetanpulsar View Post^^ Good that u liked the bike.....
One personal obersvation: it seems like I'm too thin even for this bike. There was enough space for two of my size to sit on the rider seat.
. Otherwise its very comfortable and rider friendly
What color have you chosen? I'm yet to see a black one. I personally feel thats the best looking color out of the three. second preference would be red.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostI would get mine by wednesday...>-----R One Fly----->>

This is not for me, but for my bro in law...
PS: Lighter shades usually help is hiding scratch marks.... with all those plastic in the bike, Red/orange may be better options
BTW The colour of the bike is nothing but those two tank panels thats shown in the posts above... so if you get bored of red, buy black panels :PSuper CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

I do not think it is required. Since the tire height is very low and it is not at all heavy.Originally posted by satishg View Postdid anyone try downsizing the rear tyre for better performance ??
Btw.. I got my bike last week
in Red.
Suspension is a little stiff, have to go and make it softer. Remove the ugly saree guard. Looks much better
Will post pics soon

Prob with rear tyre
Got the lord about a month back! No regrets whatsoever..Amazing pick up and equally amazing control..love the smooth turns..
I guess there's some problem with the rear tyre though, not sure if it's only in my case, but have seen a similar problem posted a guy in some other forum..
Whenever I ride this bike, I get a feeling that the rear tyre doesn't have sufficient air (the wobbly feeling)..not sure if its a feature of radial tyres or mine is punctured somewhere..
I give 35 in the rear and 30 in the front tyre..

Chech the air pressure....its recommended 28Psi in front and 33psi at the rear.Originally posted by bayofbengal View PostGot the lord about a month back! No regrets whatsoever..Amazing pick up and equally amazing control..love the smooth turns..

I don't have any complaints regarding the rear tyre as i maintain the recommended pressure."THE LORD OF STREETS"

well, I'm planning on buying the bike for my daily commute....I've test rode it...awesome machine for a 150....though most 150's would beat it in a head to head comparo in performance terms....there's something so sinfully delightful about owning a mini-fz1...hate the swathes of plastic though...~ONE LIFE TO LIVE~~NO Fear~NO Pain~NO Regrets~the BAD1
