Will it be accompanied by your R 15, but you didn't tell me whether FZ 16 have tubeless tyres or not.

Agree with this point. The pillion rider gets all the stuff !! So not fun, especially if its your gf !!

I am ok with the horn though. Does its job. Anything louder is nuisance.

2.FYI according to the rules in India the bikes horn should be 72 db, if you want more sound then please go ahead and change it(horn).. It will cause no harm to the bike.
3.No comments, Yamaha need to improve on this. Best example, paint on chassis of R15
            4.No comments.
5.Will not come out with this for the same reason mentioned in 1st point. By adding 1 and 4 FZ6 price will go up by 10k.. Are we ready to pay 85k is the question?..
Young sir, not once did I say a louder horn. A less annoying, but better horn will do... One that suits the character of the FZ16. For example, the horn on the Civic sounds squeaky and irritating while the horn on the Skoda RS is not annoying and/ or squeaky. Mind you, I own a Civic and find the horn to be annoying as the one driving the car and I can imagine how annoying people outside the car find it. Also, changing the horn or any electrical on a vehicle during the warrabnty period voids the warranty.

As far as INR. 10, 000/- extra goes... Sure, just as in the case of the RTR FI, make a variant and I'm sure many would opt for it... Just like many have opted for the RTR FI over the RTR.

With this, I rest my case.
I don't race, I don't perform stunts, I don't cut across lanes and/ or cut other vehicles, I love to wear my helmet and follow traffic rules/ laws and I prefer safety over surprise... If that is boring and/ or sissy as per you, so be it.

            • @ FZ16: I believe the Pulsar horn is very loud, it will do more justice on the Fazer ...

as for warranty, you can change it a matter of minutes when you go to claim damage // After all, installing the horn itself is safe ...

The Pulsar horn is way too loud and annoying... Besides, if you read my initial post and the one made later, you would understand that a loud horn is not what I said I wish to see (not what everyone would like to see) on the FZ16.

Changing your horn doesn't void your warranty unless we install some stupid horns which any way your are not doing..

RTR is 67k On road and RTR FI is 78K on road but FZ 75K on road and FZ FI would be 85K on road.. I am suremany wont bother shelling 85k for a 150CC instead they can go for ZMA which has more torque and power compared even if the Fz would come up with 1BHP more..

My young friend mithun.08 and many more young studs like him have spent a little over a lakh on a 149.8cc motorcycle that is high revving and better off as a track tool than a traffic tool. The envied R15 owners have done so despite the following:

                        1. Most of them will never ride on the track.
                        2. Amongst the few who ride their awesome R15s on the track, most will do so only occasionally.
                        3. Almost 90% of the above (if not more) will be using their R15s more in everyday traffic where a motorcycle with bottom-end torque makes far more sense than a high-revving rocket that comes to life around the 3000/ 4000rpm mark and where a commuterish riding position is better off than a sporty one.

So, as a variant, I still feel that the FZ16 with FI and a rear disc brake would sell well at around 10k more... Especially because it has the looks (some prefer it's looks even over the super cool R15's looks) and is designed to make riding in traffic a breeze (something that is a boon to many of us).
I don't race, I don't perform stunts, I don't cut across lanes and/ or cut other vehicles, I love to wear my helmet and follow traffic rules/ laws and I prefer safety over surprise... If that is boring and/ or sissy as per you, so be it.

I took a Test Ride of Suzuki GS 150 R. Except for the weight, the Bike is OK. The Touring part in our biking lives will be only about 10-20%. How would you place Suzuki GS 150 R? The weight of the Bike comes into picture, while taking out the Bike from the Parking Lots. And in Bangalore - people park 3 bikes in a slot of 2 bikes. And a 150 CC for a weight of 225CC - Power to weight ratio - will it be dismal?
