ooh!.. check the valves, i guess the valves are not tight enough, tighten it up.

Also since Fz has factory fitted tubeless tyres, you can try nitrogen instead of regular air, nitrogen is expensive, but also last longer, you will have to check your air once in 4-6 months... also since nitrogen does not contain moisture your mags are safe from rusting.

I use nitrogen for my Fz.

    • that makes perfect sense...I had the same problem with my 220...I initially thought there was something wrong with the rims....turned out the issue was with the valves...and yeah nitrogen seems like a good idea...but where can you get it?

btw, F1 cars use nitrogen air... its useful for higher speed and longer duration, cause nitrogen is cooler.

Rs. 30/- for first filling(your tyres will be completely deflated and dry nitrogen air will be pumped in)

subsequent fillings are about Rs.10/- (once in 4-6 months)

Th e place you are mentioning is called MADHUS, I used to go there too for my P180 classic. I haven't shifted to nitrogen as yet for my FZ, will be going there shortly.

                      • ^^Decipehering the year of manufacture is impossible without the help of someone from YMIL man. Id suggest checking the tyres to see if you can find a manufacturing date.

The tyres are the only giveaway i guess

I ride a Discover & i filled 32 in front and 37 in the rear, and after 2 & a half months I went back and the pressure had fallesn drastically to just 22 in front and 33 in the rear. I refilled on the 24th of Dec 08. Now I will go again on the 24th of this month and check tyre pressure. It doesnt last for 4-6 months, NO WAY. & I dont use my bike much, I avoid potholes as much as possible, and both the tires have a cap on the valves.

The 0-20 and 0-100 timings are phenomenal compared to the RTR. And these figures are what matter a lot. Looking at the braking distance, it seems like the petal discs on the RTR are just for show. The braking on the Yam is just AMAZING!! If this data is to be believed that is...
