Being generous

We as a society does store a lot of stuff in our homes. There are many stuff in the inventory which we do not require. Why not give it to a person who may require it?

To start it up, I have a liter of seal packed Shell AX7 10w40 engine oil. If anyone in Hyderabad is interested, he may contact me.

Being generous in terms of visiting orphanages, old age homes, etc. would be great, but giving a can of oil is slightly on the "stranger" side. Not to mention that a well endowed biker may feel shy taking it for free, because if they have a bike, they can get a can of oil imported easily, right?

Nevertheless, if anyone wants to share something with others for no cost (only), you can post here.

I second that, even i got a impression that this thread is to help the downtrodden when i first read the Thread Title.
Anyways.. shouldn't it be named something like "Giveaway Thread"??

Good initiative on your part muztariq. Not every biker belongs to upper class of the society and sometimes people run into financial problems, this should help the bikers in need. I don't have anything to spare, but if any xBhp member visits Assam, he/she would be more than welcome to spend some time with us and taste the traditional Assamese cuisine. I'm handy with a wrench too, so I might do a free service of your bike if needed

Cleaner : those r very kind words w/ a very deep meaning to them.
yes, not everyone amongst us, is a tata / birla / ambani / sahara / etc.
hell, 90% of us have burned our desires / dreams / wishes to achieve just one thing - to own our ride some day / one day.
50% of our life flies-by in we trying to come to terms w/ it - as a son, as a husband, as a father & as a mentor for our offsprings.
its tough & at times, impossible to nurture our passion & love towards riding this great nation of ours... & yet we manage whatever best we can...
i've read travelogs about the northeast on this forum & i am just as lured towards the northeast as i was [& am] towards the himalayas.
i dont know whether destiny shall make us cross our roads, my friend... but if that happens... i surely intend to run the length & breadth of that wonderful region of urs w/ u
ride safe & may the force be w/ u

Thanks to zakisback for sending me some of his old clothes and a brand new pair of knee guards. He is a very nice guy and I'm glad that he is helping out xBhpians in need. Only God knows (though, I'm an atheist) how the wheel of one's life turns, we were considered as upper middle class family few months ago and now we barely make the ends meet. I still hope for better days though I'm saying again, if any xBhpian visits Assam, I'd be more than happy to have him/her spend some time with us. If you need someone to go to Majuli with you or need any info regarding the transportation, you can message me anytime. I live close to Nimati Ghat.

This 5-6 month old female Indy was rescued by Noorain from a construction site, where a group of workers were beating her with sticks. Noorain got away with the puppy in her arms even as the workers tried to attack her as well. That's when she came to us. Now, one day in a clinic and a few x-rays later, this puppy is in the lovely foster care of Vidhu and Amber. She has soft tissue damage on her forelimbs and some cuts and bruises from the beatings, but she'll heal in no time. I've named her Kranti, which means 'revolution', because she's such a little fighter. To adopt Kranti and give her the love she needs for the rest of her life, contact Animal Aid Alliance on 9845430054
