Let's just keep this to movies; please avoid any and every kind of discussions regarding anything communal/ religious or the likes. Love/ Hatred for any particular "subject matter" is a personal choice, no need really to make that so obvious on a public forum.

It would really be appreciated if we all can follow the same.

        Thanks.

                • Oye lucky is to must watch, especially if you live/have lived in delhi..this story actually connects to the real life of delhi...kinda off affirms the peer effect theory I studied in graduation....Khosla ka Ghosla's director once again hasnt disappointed...

Sorry Bhai is rather more slow but well made movie..gets slower enough to forward it at times...no comic element, but rather confuses a lil...Shabana Azmi takes the cake which Chitrandga Singh looks hot..

Acting is top notch in both the movies....

Oye lucky is multiplex material and Sorry bhai can be seen at home(download/rental DVD)

                    allow me ;p

Sorry bhai - Its a simple story with a lil twist. its about a guy who falls in love with his brother's gf. one time see movie. nothing great though

Oye lucky - had to see it as it was from Khosla ka ghosla makers. the movie could have been made a bit more interesting thou. liked the sardar kid (young deol) acting very much. all together, its a "paisa vasool" for sure. I more or less kind off like such off stream and innovative movie rather than silly and unrealistic love stories.

PS: has anyone watched "A complete history of my sexual failure" ? its a must watch ... damn hilarious

                    • Last night (late night) saw 'Ringu' - the original Japanese version and what a terrific movie it is..Scary and at the same time exciting.. Loved it!

I had always heard and read the reviews about 'Ringu' after which all other supposed Hollywood movies were made (The Ring, The Ring - 2, etc.), and now after watching it first hand, I can certainly say that the Japanese version sure is terrific! A must watch if you are into horror movies..

                      • Indeed. There are truckloads of japanese and korean horror movies that achieve the intended effect with good ol' cinematography and audiography. Ju-On and the original "One Missed call" are good examples.

Ju-On is surely a good movie. The Hollywood adaptations (The Grudge & it's subsequent successor, The Grudge-2) were terrific as well!

                          • Anybody here interested in War Movies? Am crazy about them and for a weird reason relate to them.
Just watched Letters from Iwo Jima after having seen Flags of Our Fathers.
The movies is EPIC. Clint Eastwood at his absolute best.

He directed both Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima.Released in 2006. Both are based on the assault on Iwo Jima though LFIJ has a quite a wider perspective since it's from the view point of Japanese army.
I suggest if someone watches these two movies then start with FOOF first and then LFIJ.
