You have to get that FIR. If the concerned constable/officer does not look into the matter, ask for his superior... I am sad about this incident.

Dada.. There surely will be some Delhi xBhpian who has contacts in the right places. Please try and find out if someone can help.
The FIR is extremely vital for any claim...

        that's heartbreaking brother

Flashing your registration number might help cause i remember in one of other motor forum, a SUV was lost, the owner flashed his reg number and it was found later that evening.

Might help, our members can keep a look at all the Red Pulsar-200 around Delhi.. you never know you might get lucky!

Looks like Aryan is busy with what he should be doing right now guys. If there's anyone who knows him personally, do the needful and post his bike's details here. I'm sure the bike can be caught some day or the other, the no. of xBhpians is something we all know!

                      Registration Number: DL-6SAC - 0422
                      Color: Blue

I live in South West Delhi (near Naraina), Inderpuri, to be precise. And yes, xBhp stickers are there on the bike's front visor as well as on the rear.

The IO (Investigating Officer) came this evening at my residence to 'enquire'. He said the FIR would be lodged after two days of official enquiry. I also got to know from him that an R15 was stolen last night around the same time. That R15 was just 5 days old!

                      Damn it!

Yes, it is scary and more so shocking! I was so god-damn excited to attend today's couple g2g (which happened after a real long time). But all I could gather were my emotions and my blue 200's bike cover!

First up, Aryan; extremely sorry to hear about your loss. Circulate the engine chassis numbers in as many used bike lots as you (and your friends can). It may not amount to anything, but let's do what we can, yes?

Secondly, guys; please padlock your bikes to a solid structure. That seems to be the only way around the problem.

Real, real sad to read this. Put as much pressure on the police and the insurance company as possible. Heck, even threaten the insurance guys that you'll sue them for human harassment or something. It's the insurance company's responsibility that the claim for the vehicle be given in 3 months. Anything above that is their fault, not even the police's which keeps on delaying. No I'm not a lawyer, but i know this because I myself had lost a M800 to such thieves. The insurance company will try to drag you as much as the police does in giving the "non traceable certificate". Be firm with these fellows. They need to be talked in their own language. It took me 1.5 years to get my claim which included a case on the insurance company for human harassment. Don't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.
