    Get well soon bro.
Time and again we are made to think again on our decision to wear safety gear. Please buy some good ankle covering shoes and knee guards as well.
Don't worry about the bike, take care of yourself.

After reading the kind of damages your bike is having I seriously doubt you were doing 40kmph. I too had a crash last month at more than 40kmph and only the gear lever and handle was bent apart from scratches. The plastic of ZMA is rock solid.
Anyways, always wear more protective gears and wish you a speedy recovery.

Dude, you should also thank God for not owning a fully faired superbike then. In that case bill may go up to several lakhs.

I partly agree with you but not every crash is the same and can have a different impact everytime. Maybe you were luckier than moeed or maybe moeed had a very very unlucky fall.

@moeed : take care man , get well soon.

Sad incident. But moeed, are you sure you were riding at 40km/hr. All this cannot happen at 40km/hr. That's for sure. I mean reading at the amount of damage to you and the bike, it feels you were more close to 70-80km/hr. than 40!

Anyways, get well soon is all we can say.
              :)

I have fixed the cbz-xtreme crashguard on my zma. no worries for the plastics now. As santoosh said, it's a straight fit and doesn't even require any modification.

I wish you a speedy recovery moeed.

                      Regards,

Sorry for what happened Moeed. When I heard about the news from other members, thought just a normal skid. Sorry to hear about your deep injuries. I pray for your speedy recovery.

And, I seriously doubt it was 40 kmph when he skidded. I crashed four times at around 40 kmph and never ever got the repairs more than 3000 bucks. Damage to such an extent is really happens only at high speeds.

And I am sure that you were not able to control the bike. You are yet to learn to handle a big bike. I still do not understand how you took an u-turn at 40 kmph in rain? Karizma has big turning radius and taking an u-turn at 40 is very very risky on wet patch.

But, I am still not able to believe the amount of damage to the bike.
