Thanks a ton guys for all the wishes.

Well I'll clear the confusion here. I was at 40 and was about to take a u-turn so I applied brakes to get ready for the turn. At this moment the rear tyre started skidding as it was raining. I tried to control the bike but couldn't and crashed head-on to the divider at the gap for u-turn. I was thrown off from the bike and dragged against the road for some meters. It all happened in a fraction of a second and I couldn't do anything to avoid the crash.

P.S: It's been almost a week since I am on bed rest. It will take another 2 weeks for my complete recovery.

Moeed bhai, maybe the ZMA was new to you and especially when wet(I mean the road) you probably should have been looking at the road and the turn you had to take and not the speedo LOL

crashes are crashes.. no two are the same.. I once crashed at 80 (with only a helmet on) and did'nt even have a bruise...

Congrats on your recovery.. love read more about your long rides... actually i just found this thread.. and i was thinking all the time.. how come you come online for these long hours every night..

Ride safe.. wear knee / elbow guards from now on...
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

nice to have u back, completely recovered bro...

Well i had similar experiences with the 'ZAPPERS'. dunno y but i hav a strange feeling that these tires exclusively designed for dry n plain roads alone... these slip n slide for a mere rain or even little sand or mud....

I personally felt the Dunlop ones better on my CBZ than the Zappers....

Speedy recovery brother... my prayers for u...
Is there any specific crash guard for the ZMA ?? other than the Xtreme's?
I am about to buy a second hand ZMA and things are scaring me now.

Thanks buddy! The Xtreme/Hunk crash guard can be used on the zma.

                              hey moeed hw ru bro?

evn am facing lots of problems(severe ones) with my zma .
it skids a lot even in lil mud and if i had to brake hard in mud it looses the control,it even skids on a normal wet road(least gripped tyres).
i have tried with other bt they dnt as zma does ..evn thy have same mrf stock ones bt thy dnt it might be coz of the designing fault.
bt yeah on normal roads its jst aan awsome experience drining it i really enjoy way it moves onn...
Thinking to get few mods done to my bike to avoid such dangers:
                              1)changing the rear tyre.
2)removing the engine guard and fixing the crash gurad(finally am getting it done moeed bhai)
                              3)fitting abs to myfront disc.

as soon as i get back on my bike

Even I'm planning to get a crash guard and a rear tyre! I've just posted a question whether the CBF Stunner's guard would be a direct fit or not.. BTW, which tyre are you planning to get dude?
