Hehehe... Wot an OT sirjee

My family owns a Hyundai Santro & whenever I sit insyd I can do stuff, lyk I can open windows with a BUTTON (I wonder why Bikes dont have a feature lyk dat
).
Driving a car is a lowmans job, unless its a Lambo, I wont even think of learning a 4 wheeled drive...

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

Not really. Actually, driving has it's own share of pleasures I believe, although I dread driving in the cities amidst the cut-throat traffic. Heck, even riding becomes a pain at times, in the peak hours!Originally posted by spiderweb View PostDriving a car is a lowmans job, unless its a Lambo, I wont even think of learning a 4 wheeled drive...

We have a M800. And whenever I am forced to drive it to run for some errands, I always try to drive it like I ride my P150 only to realize that the brakes are nowhere near to the stopping power of my bike. Led to many skids and heart in the mouth moments. Looks like I got addicted to the way my bike rides!Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

I own a Wagon-R. Bought same time when I bought my Zma. Completed 34k kms (almost 33k driven by only me) very recently. Done lots of touring on that including Munnar, Hogenakkal and so many short trips.
I am happy to say I love both driving and riding.

My Dad has a Verna Xi petrol Aug 2008 model in brown color. I drive it once or twice a week. Only one long trip so far-a midnight drive to Warangal&back (don't ask why). Otherwise I use it to take my Mom for shopping/ when it is raining.
Before this we had a black Esteem VX 98 model which we used for 9 years. It was very good, but had an unfortunate accident&we had to dispose it. Many long trips in that one within A.P.
Prior to that in Mumbai we had a blue Maruti 800 on which I learnt how to drive.
I like driving early in the morning, late at night&also like long drives, but a car doesn't give me the thrills anymore. Add to it the cumbersome affair of parking, which makes a small job take much longer than it could be done on a bike. But it is very useful when it is raining or we need to carry a lot of luggage.
Quench my thirst with gasoline!
