Hmm.. well depends.. if you take care of your ride properly, there's no "high" maintenanceOriginally posted by abhichotu.abhi View Postnice to see guys liked you still have eager to own indian classics. i am saying this because these cars are really high on maintenance point of view always there is something going wrong in those cars it may be with engine or radiator,steering,....
I got this car 2 years back and till now no major problems! Just a timely servicing helps!!
Suggestions/ideas welcomeOriginally posted by pavanchirmade View PostDude that's Indian Muscle.
Simply awesome. I have so many ideas ?ushk@r for your car. Damn man. nice ride.
I am in love with this car since the time I saw it for the first time. Although the 1.8L ISUZU engine aint that great, heck it even spits petrol from the exhaust at times.
Who told you it spits Petrol from the exhaust! Never happened with my car YET!
Thanks dude!!Originally posted by winzeee View PostNooiceeeeeee

Dodge Challenger!?? Really?Originally posted by whizzkid_ram View PostDude...am a big fan of contessa...pim ur ride as DODGE show in da attachment
I wish man!
It's Isuzu 1.8ltrs engine. I'll be happy to change the engine, but for the time being I am happy to it. But in future will definitely look for more powerOriginally posted by Gasolinejunkie View PostWhat motor does the Contessa have? 1.8ltr 4 cyl? You should be able to shoehorn the Chev/Holden 3.8ltr V6 into it or maybe even a 5ltr V8. I know you get imported Daihatsu, Peugeot & Mazda engines in wrecking yards, any chance of stumbling across an old V8?

Rite now i am driving around in a 2002 Suzuki ZEN LXI. bought it second hand in begining of month of Feb and have done almost 25000 Km's till now. my car is all stock apart from the wheel and the ICE.
for wheels i changed from the typical 12" to 13". the rubber was changed from the MRF 145/80/12 to Appolo 155/65/13.
Changed the front Speakers from Stock to 6" Bullaudio Components.

Apart from this in familly we have a Wagon R 2004 model. that has done total of 86000 Km's.
we had a 1997 Maruti 800 that has crossed 100000 Mark and still running strong. (its still in the family)
