It's a good cam, only issue i had was its low-light results and soft images but for that price they can be neglected, i'd suggest you buy a SX110IS for similar price in grey.

finally decided

after suggestions from you guys and discussing with freinds, I came to the conclusion that buying from grey market is the best option

now can somebody guide me to a grey dealer in bangalore, if possible near HAL or Kormangla........where I can get a reasonable rate like you guys got......

choices are:
Panasonic Lumix FZ28
Cannon Powershot SX10 IS
Olmpus DMC-590UZ

will buy on this sunday itself....

read a few posts...most cameras being discussed are professional 1s...i personally bought a kodak m1093 which is a point to shoot...the basic reason was budget but now i think i got a gud deal....the best thing abt this camera being gud pic quality for its size....i keep it under the seat of my zma....for travelling purpose...i think it fits real gud in pocket(both ways ;-))....for improving the images i use adobe lightroom...sample fotoz can be seen in my gallery....fotuzlab on deviantART

Quick question: Sony H50 or Canon SX110 IS? Only factor affecting decison is money, or rather, the lack of it. Please suggest what would be good, since both offer similar features, except for electronic viewfinder, tilting screen and +5x zoom on the H50.

go for canon,,,,,

canon is de best they are the world leaders in digital cameras.thy have rich colours than sony. Sony use Carl Zeiss Lens mostly chinese ,but canon use their own manufactured lens which r de best in the market till date.but in looks Sony H50 is far better

Ive decided to go for an Good Quality Camera.......
My Budget is around 6000 to 9000........

try and get hold of a canon a590is...
the production of the said has been stopped so u need to search it in the market...!...
it's great if u could grab one...!...
else go for a lumix in the same budget with full manual controls..!

Actually I was suffering from the same problem, I have searched the market you can go for Canon A480 costing Rs8500/- it is 10.0 MPX and comes with 4 GB card but as I need the smaaalll one so I hav purchased canon IXUS 951S and its is for Rs12000/-

Reallly good picture quqlity.....!!!!! I would suggest Go for canon A480 or IXUS 951S

I am looking to buy a FZ28 for the last 2 months in Kolkata. But can't find it anywhere. all they say is it's out of stock.
Enough of waiting. I have decided to go for an alternative camera. I have chosen Sony DSC H50 and Olympus 565UZ. Which one will be better? Please suggest. Both are priced similarly if I am not mistaken.
