Please welcome 2 new faces in the xBhp moderation team, @psr sir & @b7ackthorn
For those who have been regular on xBhp, both of these names don't need any introduction. They have been around for many years now, sharing their knowledge with the fellow bikers. However, for the sake of it, here's their brief intro
@psr sir aka PS Raghavan was born on 24-01-1952 , his earnest liking for any mechanical moving parts started early...it started at the age of 5 with loosening tri-cycle wheels and removing them, which often caused his brothers to crash! Their tricycles handle bar would turn but wheel would remain straight and they would crash into walls....
So began his learning, and by the age of 15 he could take a bi-cycle apart and reassemble with ease, and he subsequently started working on his brother's motorcycles, doing clutch and brake adjustments, besides spark plug cleaning. For this allowed him to start the bikes now and then, and some times ride a few meters, which soon stopped after meeting a tree or a wall, and from there he understood the buffering effect of the front pneumatic tire!
PSR sir as we know him did a Diploma in Automobile Engineering, and there after the confidence within the family grew, and soon was attending to the cars in the family. He bought his first Motorcycle, with his own money at the age of 22, and since then has owned many Powered means of transport.
Engines, be it the motorcycles, or car,or Locomotives, or Jet engines all fascinating for him, and his has been a continuous journey to learn and share as much as possible.
Besides this Electronics, and Electro Acoustics are his other Favorite Subjects which keeps him occupied.
B7ACKTHORN Aka Vijay has been an avid follower of xBhp as his love for motorcycles and the essence of it was taken to a new level through this forum. Spreading this essence, the knowledge the freedom that he gained from xBhp to fellow members has always been imperative for him. When not browsing xBhp, he can be seen riding a Pulsar 220 on the twisty roads of Ooty, which is his native place.
