Uploading Pictures on xBhp - A Tutorial.

No, fireblah. Youtube videos (or any video for that matter) cannot be directly embedded on xBhp.

Its not allowed adding videos. Though there might be a valid reason, why admins have disabled it.

As long as its restrcited to a trusted website its ok, that involves some amount of work! What you are basically doing is loading a flash container... if its not restricted to any site then it can be used to host even spooky stuff!

I have been going through many threads & found many members having a tough time to post multiple pix between the text. Just thought of taking an initiative to show a step by step procedure on how a pic can be posted within the text content which are uploaded on other sites.

Hope this tutorial was helpful & should be easy for members who dont have much technical knowledge to upload the images the way they wanted.

Procedure to attach thumbnails to your post.

1. Click on "Reply" or "Quote" button you need.
2. You would find a section below in the new opened page "Attach Files" having a Button "Manage Attachments". Click on it. A new popup window will open.
3. You can browse & select the image from your local computer. Upto 10 images can be attached in one post. Once done selecting, click on "Upload" button.
4. Once its done, Click "Close Window" & you are now ready to post with attached thumbnails

you cant embed the facebook images directly, you can link it here though.

You can upload directly from your hard drive, upload it to a hosting site & then embed it here.

If you mean to embed the image directly from your harddisk, you cant do it cause your computer to which is not always connected to the internet and also you dont have a webserver setup for the same purpose.

Yes, you can put an image belonging to facebook. But the reason, why its not recommended is, most of us are maximum active on xbhp through office. And most of the offices block chat/social networking sites. Hence, not necessary it may be visible to all.
Still, if you wish to embed an image which belongs to your facebook album:
Assuming you using firefox, else just the option will vary.
1. Open the image in your facebook album.
2. Right click on image & Click "Copy Image Location"
3. In xbhp, where you are posting, Click the "Insert Image" button & paste the path you have copied.
4. And you have your image inserted within your post. Example, I just did it below



About uploading photos from your hard drive. yes you can do that as well. Please refer to my immediate previous post on this thread.

how many albums, how many total pictures and how many total pictures per album can be uploaded on xbhp................???

i am not able to upload more than 44 pics, not even in another album. is it the max. limit before moderators approve it .
