TVS Star City when i was 13

I was 13 when i rode a bike for the first time.

It was a TVS Star City, I popped out an accidental wheelie -- i didn't know how to shift gears so i accelerated it like scooty and shifted to first without the clutch (i thought it was brake) but my uncle who was standing beside the bike held the clutch suddenly and i was saved. And then he screwed me for 2 minutes, and then he sat behind me and taught me how to ride, that was my first bike ride. And little did i know i wouldn't get a chance to ride a bike again in the next 3 years. So my skill in bike riding was lost.

But i started with Bikes again 8 months ago, rode an old 135cc Discover for 800km in just 3 months and now i have confidence that i can ride any bike given to me with ease.

Actually that was my first full fledged bike ride (Gear shifting, Clutching, standing -- all done by me).

Actually i have ridden Yamaha RX-100 when i was a toddler but i didn't shift gears, use clutch

My First 2-wheeler was our reliable TVS 50 at my 15 and when i was 16 learnt to ride a geared vehicle - my friends suzuki samurai.

I was 19, when I first learnt on my father's Bajaj Cub...first day wheelie, with my father sitting on my back and banged the fence of a playground ...next I moved onto HH Splendour, which my elder brother bought...

I was 10 when my dad thought me to ride his Hero honda CD100SS.. We both went to our native place i.e nasik from mumbai on it.. and so we exchanged riding after intervals.. It was fun.. now my dad goes with his car and i on any of my bikes.. but the journey still continues..

i was 15 yrs when i learnt on cbz and in barely 10 mins i was able to brake, do upshifts and downshifts and lean properly. My uncle refused to believe that it was my first time on a bike.. right after that in a week RX100 :P

learnt riding on my dad's splendor at 14. but he didn't let me touch it until 18 after i broke all 4 of its indicators in 2 days
must've been 18 or 19 when i could ride properly with pillion. but real experience on the road came after i got my own bike, at 21.

1st Attempt: Learnt an old scooter which was gathering dust at garage when I was 11. Crashed into a wall and broke my right leg ankle as the brakes dint work.

2nd Attept : Tried to ride a bullet, and gradually fell on the left side crushing my left feet which left me with 2 cracked bones and a hairline fracture.

3rd Attempt : Finally learnt M80, Scooter then graduated to Hero Puch and then to splendor, later Platina and now RTR.

After breaking 2 of my ankles (presently metal plates on my ankles) and nearly crushing my left palm, I ride well these days.
