How Old Were You When You Learned To Ride Geared 2 Wheeler

I was in Seventh Standard , when I got permission to take out my Dad's Hero Honda CD100 Deluxe out of Garage. In a day or two I started and once tried to ride it for a while . It was a short ride and was more of a cycle ride. That evening Dad told me about the gears and clutch part. There was no looking back after that.

Though never had any issue with geared bikes but after three years I had to learn how to ride a scooter .

i was 18 year old and after my 12th board exam i learnt driving baja classic sl scooter. but to be full expert on road it took me arnd 2 years of driving both car and bike/scooter.

when i was 14.5 yrs old i got activa [my personal ride] and after that very next year when i was 15.5yrs old i got hero honda KARIZMA [again personal ride]. and nw im 18 and i own a yamaha R15.

I learnt driving before riding a 2wheeler geared bike....i learnt driving at the age of 11 on a Maruti 800.my father had a car and no 2 wheelers. i learnt riding on my uncles LML Vespa when i was 13 and slowly a year after i was upgraded to a bike RX-100 and last year i first rode a gearless scooter when i came for my studies in Pune.........since then no lookin back i own a 2003 RX-135 and a 2001-Maruti Zen.........

I rode first geared vehicle at the age of 14, it was my brother's P150 classic.
In few weeks, i mastered it and demand for new one, but couldn't get it until the age of 18.

First rode my dads bajaj M50 at that time I was in 8 std around 14 yrs of age, then when were building our house the contractor had a tvs luna, and as he was friendly with me once asked him permission and drove the luna, then while going home he did not have petrol till he could reach home, after that whenever he used to come home would ask me would you want to drive the luna

The first bike which I learnt to drive was my HH super splendor, in 2006 I bought it, and it was my first bike ,, at 22 yrs, till then I could not even drive a bike because I just didnt seem to understand which gear the bike is in and since I had got used to driving hand changed gear bike (scooters, M50) the leg gear was tough for me, many times on my friends bike I used to stop THUD but on my bike I drove very slowly and carefully and learned it,, even now if I get to drive any new bike it gets me some time to get accustomed to that bikes gear changing

Well I was 12 when I rode my Dad's Chetak in my building compound under his worker's supervision. Later I used to drive n practice it daily for a year untill dad sold it.

At 18 I got my first bike, Hunk, it was pretty heavy for me (I am a bit thin) but I had a burning passion to drive it so I mastered it in less than two months. Fell down twice once while driving and other while putting in side stand (I know many will laugh) because the stand wasnt open fully, just as I rose up the stand closed and I came down with the bike

15..with a Rajdoot of my brother....It used give very hard back kicks,and used to make my foot sore,then used to ride a Royal Enfield Fantabulus scooter,with Self start ,4 gears,and with Villiers engine(I guess)..

My dad's navy blue LML Select II 1994 model age13 plus after my final exam over of Class9th i little disappoint that time because my dad recently sold his Yamaha RD350 and RX100 before that i still remember my dad having Rajdoot, bullet, Yezdi
and from onwards till my post graduation age age 23+ yrs same LML select but in the year 2010 my own YAMAHA R15 black in between some time i got my hand on my friends bike The Blue CBZ old one.
and till now i have my dad's gift the LML select II in top condition.

I first started riding a geared vehicle (a Bajaj scooter 125cc 2 stroke) at the age of 16...learned riding a bike when I was 17...

Bought my first bike (HH Passion Plus) when I was about to turn 18...I remember I bought the bike a few days before I got my license but I could handle the bike fairly well even before I got the license.

Have been riding for the last 8 years now..
