Re: Royal Enfield Tractor. A review.
I spent an whole hour reading the full thread. Now I am thinking.. what the heck.. if you want a RE, you will get it. If you don't want one, you have numerous other choices. There was a time I longed for a RE, was on the verge of buying one, but after a deep thought of its practical utility in my daily commuting life (heavy traffic, short trips, tight parking spots), i settled down for a P220. It doesn't mean any disrespect to the RE. I still want one. I don't care it its old-school or doesn't have chips deciding every inch of movement, its about the sense of presence it offers you. My Dad had a RE Electra 1987 model, I grew up riding pillion on it. He never drove it past 60, and still loved it. It's a different kind of love that will attach you to a RE. And yes, like every Bulleter, my Dad hated the modern REs, he was always inclined to the old machines. That is what most people won't understand. It's a legacy. I agree that RE should come up with better tech, but should also continue producing the old one. Both will be loved immensely, I am sure of that.

From a different angle, REs are like the Porsche's. All of them look alike, but are different from the inside(engines, power, performance). Richard Hammond loves them, while Jeremy Clarkson hates them. Same is the case with the REs. Some of us play Richard, some play Jeremy. I wonder what the Stig has to say!

Re: Royal Enfield Tractor. A review.
Lately this thread has become more addictive than the bullet itself. Thanks to the thread starter, my colleagues were rolling on the floor laughing after reading this wonderful commentsOriginally posted by forty6 View PostFor the first time in my life-------engines.
I am yet to discover how the female members feel about this post. This thread is a great example for new generation kid's perception towards bullets. Every one liked Your awesome command over the language and the usage of smilies

Thanks to who ever resurrected this thread
And like I've said in the old post as well, I dont hate any bikes, not even pink coloured scooty peps with a badge reading hate me!!!!
All I hate are the fanboys dissing everything else!!
Heck, we ended up making this as a tribute to the original Bullet! It almost borderlines on what me and Tilak disagreed upon :P
