  • that was not the point of my point you quoted.

under most of the common situation under wet weather riding a bike will lose traction quicker than a car.

and while it was raining i never mentioned standing water.

and i understand each has their own threshold, i wouldn't really be ranting if i didn't feel everyone was being idiotically over cautious and that too in the wrong lanes.

    thanks.

    • Rain obviously leads to stangnant water unless we're talking about drizzle. And there's nothing wrong in being over cautious as one becomes atmost stupid when they're scared of doing something.

This is something I experienced & learned practically - I don't & cannot over 80 Kmph on my WagonR due to hydroplaning, while, the other day, I did over 75 Kmph on a pool of stagnant water with my C250R. I'm sure I could do more than that with a little less water, but the point is, sometimes...sometimes cars are vulnerable to hydroplaning & it also depends on the person driving it. Which is what I termed threshold.

I do certainly agree if they're blocking the traffic & only would pray they get killed, if they're violating rules (read wrong lanes)

What is the point of your point that I didn't quote? Can you explain this in a simple English pls?
Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
Awareness + Skill is what keeps you out of harm's way
ATGATT + Awareness + Skill means you might Live To Ride another day

      • you will aquaplane on a car earlier but even if you do, you won't fall off the car. A car can still be controlled once it gets back traction, a bike and the biker are goner once a bike aquaplanes.

A bike is inherently more unstable than a car. that was my only point.

and what the eff were you trying to do passing a pool of water at 75? i hope not to prove a point. drive safe man.
