Its not like that brother.. you know the difference between w40 and w50 you sure does, So why to take chance.Always go for which is recommended, you can go for 05w50,10w50,15w50 instead if 20w50 but never go for w40 oil in a 220 engine.

may be 5100 is not good for you but AFAIK,Motul is better but everyone has its own choice.

      * yes its no where close to Motul 5100T 15w50
      * Its not mineral neither Full Synth, it felt semi synth
      * Its certainly better than most of the Castrol Offerings (apart from the Power1 Racer)
      * Idle Drain Interval what I have found for P220 is like 1200 to at Max 1500
      * Commuters (Discover / P150 or such) can pull 2k kms
      * In hard and long rides the level drops a lots.. So always had to keep n eye on the level
      * Available in 1150ml pack

How do you know that I'm not using that oil..??....,I am using it is available in Noida (NCR) one of the biggest PBK in NCR and it cost 335Rs not 320Rs may be price differ.Better to use Motul 5100 SS oil.
Its good for nothing did 175km in single day after putting that oil.

and totally agree with Hunky its a SS oil not FS oil,its only good for 150cc bikes
but casrol power one racing is not an FS oil its a doped oil.
      both +1..
after trying or should i say stuck with castrol offerings, tried valvoline 20w 50 ss,and petronus mineral 20w50.according to hunky the bajaj oil is okok, but is no where close to motul 5100.hunky are you listening?.need a 5100 can soon.

I did test that oil on my bike and found out some issues.

1.The next day I travelled 550kms and the bike gave me no extra engine heating issues.

2.I felt the clutch and the gear box was not playing smoothly.

3.About 2k kms passed and still doing good.

not true. The castrol POWER ONE RACING is a FS. But the castrol POWER ONE is a SS.

Hi Buddy, if I'm not wrong, castrol 20w50 is for cars, not for bikes. Get it changed, otherwise you might end up with damaged clutch plate. I was using the same for few hundred kms, but now changed to Motul 3000 4T 15W50 mineral oil.

areey no issue you should remember it next time its written in the forum rules..
                  1) Motul 300V 15W50 (Very good) -FS
                  2) Motul 5100 - SS
                  3)Valvoline Premium 4T 20W50 -SS
                  4) Motul 3000 15w50 4T - Mineral

according to me these oil are best for 220 they meet the recommended grade for it and awesome for the bike.
AFAIK active extra is not good oil it makes the engine harsh. If you want cheep mineral oil go for Motul 3000 4T for 220Rs
It not like that Bajaj oil is bad but it makes engine harsh sounds a lot,I am loyal to bajaj but can't be loyal to its hair oil, engine oil, lights etc etc so don't take it personal brother,I have used every oil in market wasted lot of money on oil and repairing too...

                      @zayn

It may be my personal view, but I feel, those who cant get their hands to Motul 5100T 15w50, I find Bajaj 10K DTSi (with a drain interval of 1000 to 1500) is the next best option for them..

Bajaj 10k DTSi felt much better compare to any castrol offering (Apart from power1 racing) or available other mineral oils..

bro zyan as i know pulsar 220, 200, 180 recomends only 20w50 so heat can be reduced. i personaly felt that when i was using 10w40 or 20w40 my pulsar 200cc heats up lot but when i am using castrol active extra 20w50 for bike, my bike quite normal.

if some one motul lover then for 20w50 grade he should use
                              MOTUL

                              i think u suggested 15w50 MOTUL

if i am wrong correct me./

                                My feedbacks,
Guys i have used that Bajaj 10,000.
Its a Real Crap!!!!!!! its not synthetic. No full or semi whatever.
Am back to Valvoline Synthetic Blend 20W50. Now its like my P200 is running on butter.....compared to that mineral crap (Even the PBK Sup.was not satisfied with it).
Other oils used by me earlier were:
Motul 300V 15W50,Castrol GTX,Regular bajaj oil with Bardhal Additives during Run-in period. (I guess it was Servo, Probiking-Chennai)
                                Cheers
