So is the old Bajaj mineral oil better than this DTS 10K?

if some one motul lover then for 20w50 grade he should use
      MOTUL

      i think u suggested 15w50 MOTUL
if i am wrong correct me./
You are absolutely right but the one who uses anyW40 oil in place of recommended is xxW50 is ruining the engine,as you like it its good but my personal experience is not good with Active Extra.

@suresh6270 Its not that crap oil the problem with that oil is it looks burnt... black in color, makes engine rough sounds lot even at the speed of 60-65km,no problem with clutch slippage,no problem with gear slippage.Did you say Castrol GTX it for cars never use it again castrol is selling it in 1L bottle from very long now,but it is used in the Ninja 250R in PBK Noida but don't forget Ninja has inline 2 cylinder engine makes lots of heat.

Ya bro, its true. That oil does look like USED and black in color.....But the bike was struggling, the gear box was crying.....clutch became hard.....
Ya i have used castrol GTX for like 2 oil changes....it is definitely for cars n i knew the consequences to bikes, but my bike was living happy then.

              Motul 300v - 900Rs Drain Period = above 5000kms
              Motul 5100 - 450Rs Drain Period = above 3500Kms
              Motul 3000 4T - 230Rs Drain period = 2500Kms

              *All depend on riding condition*

I get Motul 3000 4T for 200Rs ,I know the dealer very well.So go for Motul 5100 very good oil if you want good investment don't use oil for long time, sometimes engine oil looks good and proper in quantity but it tend to become water means very light,so better to change oil after 1500-2500kms riding condition it will increase your engine life.

i think Valvoline is the oil which give best value for money. Other in all practical scenario Motul SS (ie. Motul 5100?) is best......

Nice research there....all of them are good for our P200, Especially 300V.
Whatever they claim the drain period is..... I always change oil at 2500~3000 kms strictly......

                      Is it vibration or Wobbling???
The engine will roar, slight vibration at those RPMs- Normal i guess
For Wobbling issue - Check Tyre pressure, Fork alignment, Cone set.

Got this DTS-1 10K oil filled in today. It costs 367 for 1150ml.
Lets see how long this lasts. But there is no increase in smoothness that I can detect. Let me ride in dry weather and I'll tell how it goes.

Hi guys, i'm using Motul 3100 4T 15W50 mineral oil. I got a doubt, how do you determine that it's time to change engine oil?? is it solely color of the engine oil, which can be seen from glass on engine or is it level of oil? and now a days Bajaj is claiming that engine oil change interval is 5k kms, could you guys let me know what's the one thing we should be checking before going for engine oil change??
