  • i kinda like it.. its a real sweet job..

i would suggest a more beefy tyre a the rear.

also does the front mudgaurd hit the fairing in case of a real nice hump ?

I think it's a lot better than the superbike wannabe's, slap some paint and some alloys i think this bike is good to go

not at all buddy..there is no problem of mudguard with fairing..i actually trimmed down the mudguard so that it shouldn't hit the fairing...and ya i m gonna put a beefy tyre..i think the one they are giving in 220 is fine...& i m also planning for putting a monoshocker of unicorn...what say...?

          • yeah the overall fit and finish is nice

and if he adds alloys and a disc brake even i would not have come to know !

but still if i were him id spend the 15 quid on the engine rather

yes yes.. the 220 rear tyre should be just right..

but i'm nt sure you should go for the mono.

i had done a lot of research on it for my 180 v1 but the risks of permanent damage if not done correctly kept me away from it.

                yup i second that...

nothing like smoking a unsuspecting karizma on the normal looking 'engine hacked' CBZ...

It looks good and stuff, but remember the black strip coming down from tank towards the engine in r15 is not a fairing part but the Delta box frame on which engine is mounted. You might have to get it built extra besides the regular front fairing if you really plan on incorporating it.

Not to be cynical or anything but, i really don't see the point your bike is a spin-off of one of the worlds most popular naked bikes, if you had seen an FZ1 in flesh, you'll realise that your bike is nearly identical to the FZ1, and technically you'll have problems with the engine heating up, and there will be difficulty reaching the engine for any tweaks like changing the engine oil, spark plugs, heck you'll have to dismantle the front fairing every time you need to adjust the idle

its gonna cost you good.. but if the real finished product is anywhere close to what you have photo shopped, its gonna be worth every cent.
it looks much better that the FZ 16 and the YZ r1 stock.
Mumbai Roads = (NO parking + Pay and Parks) - (really really bad roads with pot holes)

The road tax I pay funds the people who tow away my vehicle, the money I pay the RTO to release my vehicle funds new no-parking boards!!!!

                              • the photoshop is way tooooooooo good to be true. Main hindrance is the chassis and tank. Besides the photoshop makes the bike look longer in terms of whelbase. If you are willing to risk it then all the best, cause if you get it to look anywhere close to the pics you have shown, then your FZ will be THE best in India!....
