1000 Kms is when the changes are more, and you start taking the bike's smoothness for granted....you will not feel it any different...till you ride another bike...without this treatment..

Point noted -- in fact, one thing that I forgot to mention was finding neutral is getting to be as easy as in the old all down or all up transmissions...
no more fiddling around as much as before... it's improved, I would say, about 90%..

And, as PSR said: I am not advocating this for others to follow, but sharing result of my experiment . It is up to the individual to experiment or not and take THE RISK.
This experiment will not yield noticeable difference in engine done less than 10,000 Kms...AND SHOULD NOT BE DONE ON ENGINES WHICH HAD NOT SET IN.AND ENGINES WITH LESS THAN 3,000 Kms ON ODO

hmmm but it could potentially settle down although 2t oil has more viscosity than petrol but with time the boric acid can settle down. But hey empty 2t tank fill up just enough mix that'll do you good for 2-3 days and when you run out of it switch back to normal 2t oil
do not mix with 2 t in tank.or petrol .it will settle to the bottom and block the flow leading to engine seizure,if mixed in 2t oil ,.....and no petrol flow if mixed in petrol .
I had the experience so this is a warning..do not do it in 2 strokers.

I had thought so initially, but to my surprise it actually reduced the little amount of clutch slip in my old KB100 plates...thinking that it is one of a kind luck i wanted to try on my ZMA which had same clutch slip..how i knew ? the ZMA is supposed to give 15 Kmph for every 1000RPM as per spec, and i found my pre-owned ZMA to be not so..in fact when i accelerate, the RPM will go high and speed will catch up slowly..so I changed to thicker oil and drove for about 300 kms, with nill improvement...so i had nothing to loose by trying this Boric Acid experiment in my ZMA. so poured the mix and took it to a 150 kms trip..by the end of it I did find the engine to be smoother..after another 300 kms the RPM to speed relationship became even better...now the bike RPM and speed increase progressively to-gether, and at 3,750 RPM my bike does 60 Kmph...I have done nothing else..and I can not relate the improvement to any other reason.Finished 1,000 km and now the engine is smooth through the revs.

I've given my engine the boric powder treatment -- done about 350 kms on it. The engine seems smoother, but then again, that could be the new engine oil. Anyways, I guess I'll have to wait for at least some more kms to really notice the effects, but yes, there have been some noticeable effects, like cold starts are easier, and idling seems to be very, very steady......

All in all, nothing bad to report, yet.

PS: @PSR: Thanks for your inputs, sir .... will keep you posted

cold start problem is gone, engine is smooth, no visible smoke.
Btw my engine needs reboring that's the main reason behind using boric acid. So i'm not in the position to give you a complete review. I guess now i can postpone reboring till next year.
