    as far as melting the reflector is concerned, let me clear a doubt.

    the difference between these is that the size of the xenon tube is different, its bigger in size in higher wattage bulbs.
    a 100w hid kit has a standard H7 hid bulb which is 3 times bigger than a 35w hid bulb, that's all.

    I've seen 35w hid kits burn pulsar's reflectors too.
    the burning of the reflectors is to do with the quality of the kit, the one with the UV shield doesn't burn the reflector.

    220's projector has a really sharp cut-off, but these @$$ holes don't know how to level the beam correctly, hence the glares are higher. Like every other projector, even this one has a nice glare shield, but people don't know how to aligh it perfectly, hence it enters the eye and thus produces high glares.
    I've already posted a pic where my front num plate is clearly readable even with the 100w bulb ON.
    this one has no glares if seen above the cut-off, and i have set it up nicely to avoid glare problems.
    Exactly, these guys doesnt know how to aim the headlight and considering a focused projection beam like a normal reflector spread. I have seen few guys at workshop asking for raising the low beam to get more visibility Once I tried to educate them but I was really pissed off with their comments like bro, you dont know how fast I'll be driving so my visibility is first than others safety. I couldnt make him realize that this could be dangerous for him as he's blinding the oncomers as he's got a idiotic rule of thumb: safety means visibility in terms of lighting

    Nano, pls post a snap a normal HID capsule with the 100W cap for a comparison. Just to convince myself.

    Ranjit, all projectors will make glares once its not properly aimed, the manufacturers have taken enough precautions for not being used improperly and the projector placing on a car is too lower than a bike so its hardly noticeable if something went wrong too.

    Even I was fooled many times bcz of this poor alignment in P220


    Nano, he's right in cut off specs, good quality projectors have a very clear cut off, a differentiating colour on the cut off line and the shadow levels will be very lesser, the light spread will be more even, take a wall projection from a distance of 10mts you'll know what I meant.
    Do it Yourself, what so ever, if Possible

        Regarding the heat, i have currently a 100w hid at low beam and a 55w halo at high beam, whenever i keep the low beam ON and ride, after turning OFF the headlamp I've touched the headlamp to feel weather its hot or not, trust me the low beam is much much cooler than a 55w halo bulb too, I've tried the same method with the high beam too, even keeping it on for 20 seconds heats up the glass and makes it nice warm and cozy.

        The low beam that i have currently is as hot as previous 35w hid was, much cooler than the 55w halogen, i suppose its as cooler as a 35w halogen is.

        Besides I've seen a 35w hid melting the reflector too.

        well, as you guys have seen my previous pics, it clearly shows the cut-off alignment as how it avoids oncoming, so i guess the wall projection method isn't needed, regarding the bulb size, I'll post a picture tomorrow showing the difference.

              Can i install this Alternator on my Bajaj CT100, I did lot of alteration like, Megnate rewainding, i installed 12v9a amron battary, APE truk Charger to charge it . but MY HID of 35w light for a 1minut and battary get drain

              PLease please please help me......
