      Well ,I've ordered the Apache RTR 160 FFE and big bore kit from Joel(waiting for delivery).My query is whether
      1.there are any things to note while the mechanic installs the mods.I don't want the bike screwed whilst modding as it is in pristine condition(around 14K on the odo)
      2.Does it require running in like the original engine?
      3.Could someone send me a link to pictures of the big bore kit and all the parts that come with it(what parts come with it?)?
      4.Should I change the engine oil immediately- presently have run around 1000 kms on Castrol power1.

        Watch out for the FFE fitting...it usually comes in the way of rear brake...work around would be either bending the lever a bit or reducing teh play as much as possible(that would mean you need to check braking )...or make a dent in the exhaust to allow the brake its required play

        I tried AGIP,Shell FS,Castrol Racing,Power 1 and finally settled on Motul FS...

          Ensure that your mechanic has all the right tools for the job. Also ensure that the place where the work is going to be done is clean and dust free. While it is not necessary, I would suggest replacing all the relevant gaskets. Make sure that the job is not done in a hurry. Tell him to take time to ensure everything is done in proper manner. I would also recommend that you go through the workshop manual and do your homework. It will help you understand what is going on when the work starts.

          2.Does it require running in like the original engine?
          It will require running in. However, ask Joel for his recommendation of the duration of running.

          3.Could someone send me a link to pictures of the big bore kit and all the parts that come with it(what parts come with it?)?
          The big bore will come with the Cylinder, Piston, Piston Pin, Piston rings, Oil rings and circlips. All gaskets will need to be bought extra.

          4.Should I change the engine oil immediately- presently have run around 1000 kms on Castrol power1.
          My recommendation is to change the oil and oil filter. Change the oil to a good quality of mineral oil. Also after the running in change to a good quality of fully synthetic oil and change the oil filter once again.

                  As per joel around 20% increase...~3BHP...but weight reduces by around 4kgs odd...so better Power To Weight ratio

                      My friend received his FFE via DTDC.Even im worried about this since im out of station and i cant pick it up myself.They will have to deliver it to my place which means them carrying it around more!
                      Has anyone received the FFE at their doorsteps?Any damages?

                              That's impressive!Now,all I need to do is find a decent mechanic in Secunderabad.Hope that the nearest CBZ is adequate.
                              I guess a tyre upgrade would help too.

                                Are the kits fabricated in entirety by Joel and his mechs or are they imported and modified for the RTR and other Indian bikes?I ask this question because I have no idea of the size of his setup!
