Danny, all said and done, this is not a war front. All ive written is to make people aware of what he is and what he has done.
Tomorrow if some petrol pump guy cheats you and gives you bad fuel or lesser quantity, wouldn't you go ahead and tell your friends about it, warn them before they get victimised? Thats exactly what I am trying to do, haven't used any abusive limgo for him or his work, I am doing this to show him what ive lost because of his carelessness.
Bro on a very sincere note: really sorry man, I dont want to offend you or hurt your feelings.
Hope we still have that bikers brotherhood intact. ?

Yes its all his fault, if you are providing some goodie to someone then please provide instructions along, if you xant then pick up the call and tell us how to.
People have called him numerous times to know how to install his plug and pray thing.
Peeing in your pants?? Ill tak you for a ride in my cedia and then we would see what you have to say.
He keeps lying to everyone and send old used big bores, isn't that his fault?? Oh sorry its my fault I am buying stuff from him.
Waiting for 6 months to get a big bore, is that my fault? Yes it is, I contacted him.

When you are in trouble nd you call him, he never replies, is that my fault? Oh sorry once again, should have called the fire brigade that time, they would have definitely helped me out.

So mr Danny, after bein conned by a tooner I would never ever on earth would go back and give me precious bike to him again and if I do my dad would burn that bike instead.

I dont know how can someone fall in a pit again and again even after knowing its there in you front.
No offence to you mate, but wake up dude, you lost you R15 coz of him, now you want to crack your 220 by him again?? Ur wish mate cant say anything.

Me, Shivang and many other have faced, seen, done and experienced his products and the reviews are here, even after all the effort shv18 has done you are going in for hot roding by him then, God Be With You.

Yeah well my grave then, see you in the other side. But conduct yourself with a little bit of... How to say... Respectable demeanor. Fake claims my ass. My R15 had its faults. But beat a 200ns hands down. Power was no dispute. Reliability maybe. But you got a minor package. Sad for you he may have been busy, I got my stuff on time and only delays were postal. So. You wanna talk cars? Come sit in my Scorpio. I'll show you what a hybrid turbo and some other goodies can do. Road side mechanic my ass.

And peed myself in it. So please. Don't talk rot for the heck of it. Secondly. He's busier than motozone. That's for sure. I don't see a motozone drag car nor a motozone race bike ANYWHERE. That being said, cut some slack. I won't make excuses for his late deliveries and what not. But I doubt any of yall need an explanation anymore.

    THE WHEELIE MONSTER.

This bike was the Light at the end of the tunnel for me at a very trying time. It is a friend's and a very loved and we'll known bike in chennai (sorry wheelies are too hard to pass up on a bike this good). I met Ashwin (Owner of bike fz) on a sunny Saturday morning. He had a package for me and I was over joyed to meet him and that was the start of a friendship and love for a bike like no other.

The bike. A black fz18 with the works. Carb, big BORE KIT, EXHAUST, cdi, camshaft. And the performance I Met the bike when it completed 2000kms of varied and perfect break in. She is now at 10528kms and performs like the first time I rode her.

    Performance.

If one can say wheelie then this is the bike man effortless pull anywhere and everywhere, except top end, where some jetting and cdi work is being attended to by Joel. (the TUNER). From 2000-8500 she pulls better than a stock R15 and on par with my stock 220 (before I worked on her) and for now that bike is happy and so is the owner. She starts every morning. Never chokes and dies. Idles well and in fact gets like 32 mileage when I ride it. That's saying a lot XD. The oil never goes down and to top it off out of all the Bullshit in the thread. Not even a single problem as described by Shiv has cropped up.

Some figures for the number junkie. 0-100 in 9 flat seconds with a perfect launch. (gps verified). Mileage 32-37. And finally she never heats up, the exhaust doesn't pop and she does what you ask. When you ask. And does it. Again and again and again.
Now to put to rest some stuff.

The cam sound. Back in the states my dad had a 1969 Chevrolet camaro Z28 not a numbers matching car but a z28 none the less. It had, a high lift cam, a bigger carb, and a bored and stroked motor with msd ignition. Now. The cam in that car. Had a lopey idle and made the same tick tick sound (down be juvenile and call it a tailor saab noise please how old are we.) it's refused to start in the mornings and took forever to warm up. Next the carb needed constant tuning thanks to the bored and stroked motor. And that meant constant work and attention. Now don't these seem like problems so infamously portrayed by Shiv? Fact of the matter is that these are everyday and part and parcel packages of tuning or screwing with a stock engine. This is a Labour of love and if you aren't up to it. Don't do it.

Now. My 220 is going to Joel. And so will my other bikes till I leave India. That being said. Every morning i warm the bike up. Check oil level and etc and then set of. A modded bike is like having a grocery list given by the wife. Don't check everything off the list you won't hear the end of it when you get back home. If you do.

Finally. Attacking his Honda city's is a low blow. Something a fighter in the ring knowing he is losing would do. Those cars are formidable and there are figures to back them up. So keep to topic.

Re: Race Concepts - Next Level performance!

7Wow! This thread feels like a war zone.. so much drunk on hate.

Well let me share my experience with Race Concepts. I have a RTR180 (now 190) fitted with a 190cc BBK, Modified Head, Flatside Carb & FFE from Race Concepts. I have completed 12,000 kms + with all the RC kit fitted on the bike.

Initially with just the BBK & FFE, the bike was jerking (like when you run out of fuel) alot below 2.5 rpm. Being from a Hill Station, Shillong, and having to pass through the main parts of the city on my daily commute, i usually crawl at around 2-3k rpm through traffic jams esp with a pillion on board. This made the ride very uncomfortable with all the jerkings. Tried tuning the carb so many times but still no relief. Contacted Joel many times and he was patient enough to explain in detail, over the phone, as on how to tune and adjust the jet & pin settings of the bike. Still the jerkings won't go.:banghead:

I decided to go for the Head Work too thinking it would help with the circulation of fuel. Joel said it would probably reach me in 4 days or a week max. It reached me in 3 days - from Bangalore to Shillong. But the performance of the bike after fitting the Modified Head left me disappointed again. I didnt feel like it was helping the bike in any way

Then i went for the Carb & Power Filter thinking maybe it needed more fuel supply. This also reached me in 3-4 days from the time i ordered. Aha! So it seems like the Carb was just what it needed!! But i had to refuel twice a day!!! the power delivery was brutal but the fuel efficiency went down to 20kmpl and even lesser with spirited riding..

I had to take off the carb because i couldn't afford the fuel bills at that time. So i rode my bike like that for some months.. sputtering and slow. I felt let down by Race Concepts - the company i had so much hope in.

Then one day, as i was catching up with one of my motocross racer friend, he told me about a mech who tunes his bike before each race. He adviced me to take my bike to him. I thought i'll give it a try.

So i went to the workshop - a small garage with mostly bullets inside it.. and the mech, Abib, also came on a bullet. He didnt look like one who could tune a race oriented bike. But still i decided to give it a try. I asked him to test and tune my bike after briefing him on the works done on my bike. I had taken off my FFE then because it is now banned in our State :banghead: He took about 10 mins to test and fine tune my bike. I didn't get to test the bike properly right after he tuned it because it was already dark so i went home straight & decided to go for a long ride the next day. The bike somehow felt different.

I went on a 220kms trip the following day ... and I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!! The bike felt like a different bike altogether!! It was pulling so much more better than it used to and it was getting to speed much faster!! That was the first time after a long time that i really felt happy with the bike's performance.

I took my Carb to him too some days later and he fitted and tuned it again. This time, i had tears in my eyes not only from the sheer lunacy that the bike was pulling but from the joy of having all the parts working in sync with one another and blowing the helmet off me!! And the bike wasn't consuming fuel like a water thirsty dragon too

I'm enjoying the full capacity of the RC parts now. What i wanted to point out here is that actually its not that i had a bitter experience with RC; but because of the unexperienced mech i took my bike to before, it felt like i was disappointed with RC but it was the Mech that was actually at fault. This other mech made my bike perform so much better - with the same parts. So you see, if we don't get to take our bikes down to the RC Workshop, we are at the mercy of our mechs - they may be extremely good with stock bikes but with technically modified bikes, they need a different set of technical skills. That is where it all lies. Your mech might be ruining the bike for you but all blame goes to RC. Just like what has been happening with my bike earlier.

As far as durability is concerned, the parts have never given me any kinds of problem. I use my bike for all spheres of riding - stunting, offroading, commuting & also touring - but the power parts have never given up on me. So far, so good!

And a modded bike is like a girlfriend who loves and needs to be pampered. You cannot treat a modded bike like a stock bike. You need to check the oil more often, for example. And thats the beauty of a modded bike tailored for your wants. I couldn't ask for more. I'm planning to get an Impulse soon, hopefully. That will surely be Joel'd too.

    All fake commitments.
    Fake!!!
The day your EGGJOSHT fell on the highway because of its poor quality, I called you for help and you were so busy with dont know what that u denied picking up my call, I was stuck in the middle of the highway and your bloo** ego was so high that your customer was in trouble because of your fault and you were in your own world of sewing. Whatttttt....
    1 week
    2weeks
    3weeks
    4weeks
5weeks went by and you and your lies were nowhere stopping.
How do you explain that, daily I used to call you message you, all I used to get was a message which use to say, SORRY I AM BUSY, WILL CALL YOU BACK.
One day you told me at 9:30am that your going to your office and will revert back about my exhaust.
After calling almost 30 times I get a reply that you are on the race track. Another big lie. At least tou could have told me that ull be on the track and wont be able to tell me whats going on.

I WILL SEND YOU A NEW EXHAUST AS A REPLACEMENT FOR SOMETIME AND THEN THE STAINLESS STEEL ONE WILL BE SENT TO YOU ASAP. This was send to me after literally begging him for the exhaust. This message was sent to me during the second week of this whole scenario. 3 weeks went and no sign of any calls or messages.
Ok now tell me, after installing your whole set up I did 15k kms and when I went to motozone and they did the headwork properly how come my bike was literally flying Mr Tailor??
Yes you do use a ice cream scooper to do the headwork, call yourself a tooner not a tuner Mr Joel.
What you've done with my life is what you will regret all through your life.
    One line for you.
Guys he is like a buffalo, no matter what you say or do he will still do the same things and keep tooning people for bad.
Get a life man! All the cons you have done will cost u something big.
Good for you I am ot in Blore, else I would have personally come down to see how you tune and then would have shown you how I Tune.
U burnt my dads hard earned money, being an Army officer he did all of this going beyond his expenses. We are not like you, who steals other customers new bike parts and puts it in your race bikes. We earn what we work for, we dont earn by burning people down and bringing them on ground coz they invested on you Race Contraceptives.
Idiot could have told me the very first week that he would take time to send the exhaust back. I would have happily went back home nd celebrated new year along with my family.
5 weeks away frpm family and friends.
I swear I will keep posting all your drama everywhere possible so as people come to know the real truth of what you are Mr Tooner.
You took a very wrong decision of fooling around with me.

The cylinder heads and carefully flown and finally finished with pneumatic grinders and various specialist die grinders. Something none has to discuss here.
Someone here mentioned about carbs. Well, its not physically possible for us to tune a carb remotely however the required jetting is predone and sent. If there is a slight variation, they will have to be done by making final adjustments to the needle, airscrew or at last main jet. I do know my tune and we know what we do. Avoid personal attacks.
There is enough bashing for people on their personal account for reasons best known to them.
While its someone who has a faulty carb without the right jetting, or a misfit bigbore kit which gave-up, a rusty mild steel exhaust which was not replaced in time etc.
All I can say is, I dont want to get into the detail. We have constantly improved the variants - from what was a problematic initial batch of R15 pistons - which we have now resolved, to converting the exhausts from mild steel rusty ones to full stainless steel versions and improving further without any change in costs etc.
If the owners are willing to bring their bikes down to Bangalore for setting up and the tune, then we have all the reasons to be blamed if anything is wrong. Any concerns that have come-up from our installs with engines tuned or built in bangalore have been surely taken-care-of. The problems arise when the same is done by a a third person. We have no control over their quality of work or understanding in building the engines. We have cases of people installing pistons on the wrong side (EX to IN). We agree with the problems that have arised on certain engines - the earlier lot R15 BB 165cc kits (which we dont sell anymore, instead upgraded to a higher spec one) and some issues on the FZ-16(ticking sound) camshaft and bigbore kit and the older mild steel exhaust systems which were prone to rusting. Which we have improved over time.
Its purely incorrect to connect one problem with another and make a tale of stories while we know whats the reality. We have had delays with exhaust and parts delivery which was our concern and we have taken all measures to not let that happen anymore. The previous methods have all been changed for better and we have taken new measures to ensure quality and improve the turn around time.
Please do not plague us with unwanted discussions and personal attacks.
We assure all better service, support and products going forward.
I would personally suggest people to bring their bikes down to Bangalore for all installations and get the right tune, be satisfied.
We will also provide dyno curves shortly for all our builds and references for parts.
What do you have to say about delaying my exhaust for 1 and half months and then also you kept on lying lying and lying.

You took a very wrong decision of fooling around with me.

could you please elaborate?"to drop weight and substitute with alternate alloys." im a noob. seen many hot rod machines in foreign channels on tv. would really like to visit and see the ways in your garage. thanks...

If it aint a pun intended question, Yes we do drill chassis and floor pans to drop weight and substitute with alternate alloys.
There is no basis for what some people have mentioned, unless someone is willing to come down to us to check our ways of working.

Motozone did an amazing work, I was amazed to see how they had worked on my head with so much difference in the volume and polishing was done amazingly.
My bike was literally flying, so much power.
Because of Tooners Like him People Like Mr Vikram and Chintz are kept at stake and Motozone being such a professional workshop stays low.

I think what you are referring to is a pneumatic drill/grinder. You may refer to this post from FZ18 thread: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/general-...ml#post1022365

If the port sizes are incorrect and the flow of the charge is disturbed.. it will ruin the power making capabilities of your engine as the port velocity will reduce drastically. I would still request you to pen down your long term reports with the new work done once you have covered some more kms post your exams. Judging by the no. kms you clock on a single day i won't be surprised if you are able to report back 10k kms log in barely 2 - 3 months...

    Cheers,

No offence to u mate!! Switch back to your FFE and replace the glasswool, it takes mere 20 mins to change the wool.
People just get the big bore and they want massive gains out of it without knowing the consequences of it, for higher compression you need a ported head to handle the pressure and a FFE to make it even better.

    Hi,
I am running on big bore with stock exhaust for 17k kms, still couldn't feel BB effect so far. Pick up is too low, also I am concerned about periodic maintenance with FFE, any idea what's happening in my case

    Thanks

Well, it really brings be to the reality of how people see things and talk right at the back.
While we use some rough tools to grind off the initial burrs in the head, its conisidered as hogging the port?
