    Hi Joel,

Thanks for the Simota Filter! Enjoying the bike much more with it! I've tried to keep my bike stock as far as possible, but i'm thinking of investing in your big-bore kit. Will really do wonders for a tourer like me i'm sure!

I had one question, there's a friend modding his Pulsar 150, the main aim being to be faster than an R-15. He will complete this work in a month and will then want to do some comparo runs with my R15. The question i have is - what can i do to get the best out of a stock machine for a 1/4 mile? All i can think of right now is to ensure that the engine oil is good, that the chain is well lubed and that the tires are slightly over-inflated.. Anything else i can do? The Pulsar 150 in question will most probably be running a P-220 bore..

^On a stock bike, it all boils down to rider skills. Point is, why you wanna still keep it stock? Why not get faster and run away, the R15 can be tweeked into a demon in a few hours by us.

I'd be on top of the world if i could pass my friend's P-220! I spoke to u about the big-bore kit when i met u to collect the filter. Do u have one in stock currently? money is ready.

The next thing i would pick-up from u wud be the ECU module.. FFE not too sure, coz i dont think i'd enjoy a loud bike on long tours.. Please let me know when is the earliest i can pick up the big-bore.

And cheers to all ur efforts and dedication, it's making lives of bikers in India much more exciting!

P.S. - i'm super-motivated to have a Race Concepts R-15, will keep pestering u for parts as and when i save up enough. Love ur pricing tho!

@ joel - i own a 2006 apache 150 which has clocked around 45k kms till date and is in pristine condition. The only problem i am facing is that rust is forming on the header and i have tried to paint it three times but it still persists. Now i am planning to go for your free flow because anyways i wanted to change the exhaust. Is it ok to just go for the FFE without any other mods. Are there any negative effects ?

I will be in bangalore from 4th of june till the 26th of june so was planning to pick up the FFE from you for my ride . Please help and please PM me fr the pricing details

              Aditya

Exhaust only for the RTR 160 and 180. The A150 can have the same exhaust only if you are swapping the block and head to that of the RTR series. The A150 does not benefit much with the stock engine alone. A lot more will have to be done to it.

                  Congrats!

I am new to xbhp and I am real glad that i got to know about race concepts from here. I own a P220 dtsi and i am going to start saving from today itself for all the mods that can be done on my bike. Only problem is that i live in UP, and cannot come to Bangalore for any work to be done.
I am also very proud to know that my performance kit will be fabricated in india. As i always prefer buying indian goods. my bike and all my riding gear is Indian
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

@Joel It is wonderful to see so much effort in bike modding and the results are truly amazing. Congrats to you bro! I have one doubt though. Suppose I want to install a big bore to my R15 and make it a 165 cc engine, won't the RTO have an issue with it? It was registered as a 150 cc one and after the big bore its 165 cc. Can you throw some light on this?

Simple, don't tell them, as for insurance in the event of a claim they will not open up your engine, if they do most mechanics will not be able to tell. As for the exhaust, it's just an aftermarket fitment(stock replacement or duplicate) As for ecu and airfilter just swap them back if need be.

Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !
