the FFE is really loud ! even the idle sound is louder ! riding the bike at 20 to 30 kmph inside the city limits ! coz of the sound and it should not bother the cops !

you better go for the exhaust with db killer ! and with sirac this exhaust the bike looks cool !

Nope. With the db killer removed, performance is the same. Expect like a 3-4% drop over the full potential with the db killer as an effort to mute the sound. Still makes more power than the stock exhaust.

the one in the pic is the exhaust with a db killer(currently doing in my bike). The db killer is sortof a cigar shaped insert screwed with an allen screw to hold it.Joel can clear your doubts whether he still fabricates the exhaust sans the db killer.

Let me step in and answer your question. 2 of my friends recently bought exhausts from Joel. One is Rakesh a.k.a Velociraptor and the other is Sunny a.k.a brightsunny.
Rakesh has an exhaust with DB Killer which can be removed with the help of an Allan Key and Sunny has an exhaust without the DB Killer, the simpler one, older generation one.

I hope this clears the air.

ok, gr8. i was waiting for this answer only.
but, now, as u said, rakesh has the one with removable DB killer. so, after removing his DB killer, does the bike sound like the old exhaust which sunny has??

bro i believe that question is not relevant.... are you looking at this FFE clearly as a means of performance kit or just one of the sound blasters with grunt...

Joel has clearly mentioned in few pages back that the FFE for pulsar 220/200 has a removable DB killer. with DB killer the sound gets muffled... whereas with the DB killer removed the sound and the performance shoots up to 100%. so kindly do check a few posts back and rest assured you will get all the answers that you need... worst case scenario you always have Joel anna to irritate directly through pm or by shooting him a mail. Not starting a flame war but just letting you know...

                            all in good spirits,

                            cheers

hey bro thanx for reply. actually i wanted to hear a few things from the people who are actually using it. some of them replied also. so i got my answer.

secondly, please read some of my previous posts. i have clearly said that there are still some doubts in my mind. so, i thought it is better to ask on this thread itself, so that the actual users can have their say.

but yes, will surely get in touch with joel sooner than later.

                              anyway,
                              cheers.
