The octroi MH guys are paying is a normal charge that the Local Muncipal Corporation charges. If you want to save on that.. get your stuff shipped to a friend's place who stays outside city limits. If you weren't charged any octroi for your 1st shipment, consider yourself lucky.

BTW.. @Ashok This problem can be 'potentially' solved by under-invoicing the declared value of the packages to save on the local taxes. Many ebay sellers actually follow this practice for the benefit of their customers. Anyways this stuff is being sent through reputed couriers (both Blue Dart and FedEx) and so there is very little possibility that the stuff will be stolen en route. There is no use of correctly invoicing packages if you are not getting 'transit insurance'(Are you? ). And since the Rs.300 you people charge also includes courier charges, You won't actually be going against the law if you reduce the shipping charges from the invoice amount. Anyways, If the declared value is sufficiently small, the Octroi people will simply let it go without applying any octroi. Maybe FedEx people did this themselves and Blue Dart people did not and hence the current situation.

@other guys.. Does it matter SO MUCH that the Tees arrive in 3 days instead of 2? All I mean to say is it is not a matter of life and death . Blue Dart is also a very reputed courier and I am actually happy to see these people using reputed couriers like Blue Dart and FedEx (Arguably 2 of the best ones in India) for shipping the Tees.. I would suggest people to stop nitpicking.

The state government levies the octroi charges when the product enters the state. This charge is applicable to certain states and fluctuates as per the Government regulations and we are unable to confirm the amount at time of your purchase.

The octroi charge is payable by the recipient at the time of delivery.

If the goods pass through check post at city limits they will levy the product, but some times they will exclude it inspecting randomly.

The courier person will give the tax slip to the customer, collect it and pays to the government. it doesn't matter with the invoice value.

This process is applicable to all couriers.

While booking the tee's I found some feature "Custom Logo" which we can upload and that will be printed on the tee.
Did I get it correctly
I am planning to order 6-7 tee's with some custom logo, is that logo thing possible ?

Order No# 604, recieved my package yesterday
Well packed,
Great quality of t-shirt and especially the print.

Only concern is that the M size T-Shirts look more like L size.
Compared the size to an existing M size branded T-shirt of mine and the size seems bigger.

However hoping that the tee shrinks a bit after a wash...

I was just going to Order 2 T-shirts from CI website, but now the cost per t-shirt has increased to 350 Rs from 260 Rs? Was Shocked to see it

This is too much, I am yet to receive my shipment which should have been reached to me as per you on wednesday, but still I am yet to hear the doorbell ringing.
Its not that I should fear just because of one day delay,, but its the customer care people at bluedart , who are more stupid then MTNL/BSNL customer care department, atleast they should talk/give reasons which are sensible.

I received my t-shirt today at 6.30 pm, I am happy with the quality of the product, but the only problem with the whole deal was your selection of shipping/courier as Blue dart,, I request you to kindly change it to some better firm like fedex, and if its costs a little more, then please take it from us or atleast provide option for both, so that people can have an option to save themselves from Bluedart's misery.
