@abhijitkn fantastic write up mate.

All the Pulsarian needs, a monoshock, liquid cooling, icing on cake with three pluggies that's a real sweet recipe.

My only gripe is why did they employ the gas canister for a mono-shock, clearly they can be using a pro-link shock, which could have even added to the nimbleness.

Anyways if the QUALITY isn't as it is today, then this babe is gonna be a CORNERSTONE in Indian Biking Community!!

So, the guys at STARS AHEAD team just didn't put an extra spark plug just because they had to be "different" but because there was some logic/observation behind it.
Always been a fan of Bajaj. All the kudos to Bajaj & more so to Mr. Rajiv Bajaj.

How can so many things open in just one cylinder

I mean 4 valves ,three spark plugs

Is there any cylinder head or not ?? This is crazy man.
Got to see the engine internals.

Liquid cooled,4 valve dohc, mono shock etc......
Is there anything left ?

Is there any REAL difference between the KTM's FI engine and Bajaj's new triple spark engine, apart from FE.

The specs seem too good to believe! Tech wise seems much ahead of competitors especially the Karizma. 1 year more of savings and this baby is gonna be mine!

Liquid cooled is not Oild cooled. In LC engine, a jacket of coolant sorrounds the engine to cool it whereas in OC engine the Oil is passed through a series of pipe which which gets cooled due to flow of air hitting the pipe.

Well, I don't think that Stars Ahead team had just sat in the corner watching the KTM guys doing all the planning & when they are finished for thier bike, the Bajaj team comes in & says, "Excuse us but we are also taking the engine for our Pulsars". They have co-developed.
Overall, it's just not a cosmetic upgrade, right. This is what a real upgrade is all about.

visually... there are at least a two dozen individual bits that i like about the bike.

but as one complete package... nothing seems to flow.
i think the overall design is appalling

yea... i'm sure the bike will look better in the flesh...
but still... in terms of design... there's a lot lacking.

Well, if you are more inclined towards a faired bike, then a street naked may not look appealing to you......
