  • List of Dyno tuning centers in India

Is there ANY dyno tuning center in India? Lets make a compilation of them in this thread and sticky it... I know KS Motorsports in Bombay does Dyno tuning, but only for 4-wheelers... Maybe our tune master Joel can help us out here...

I think one is with Red Rooster performance in Bangalore. There is one more in Bangalore. Dont know the name. As far as I know I dont think any of these can cater to 2 wheels. There are no dynos for 2 wheels in India. Some are there with Bajaj but they say they only work for Bajaj motorcycles. Dont know the reason..

I got my bike run'ned on the dyno meant for Bajaj bikes, in Ajmer's service station. But I don't think those are the real Dynos that you look for. I checked all the displays, there were settings about the speed, weight/ load (which I think increased/ decreased the resistance at the rear wheel. Can't be sure.).

But, there were no output for readings of power, torque, rpm input from bike, etc. I'm not sure about this though, so any clarification would be great.

I got my P180's front wheel stuck onto it, and started revving it and measuring speeds. At 8000 rpm and 5th cog, the dyno showed 94 kmph, so it was the real speed or close to it. And, it easily hits the rev limiter in 5th, on that dyno.

We, Dynaspede, are based in Hosur and supply Dynos. We have done installation of dynos in the major cities...to name a few...Phoenix Motors, Hitech city- Hyderabad, Om Motors..Poonamallee-Chennai, Melody Automobilies..Thirupunithura-Kerala, Raunak Motors...Bhatinda, Bhagath Motors, Bimal Motors in Bangalore etc.

I would be obliged to answer any queries on dyno testing.

Please let us know the dyno figures of the below bikes :

                          1. Pulsar 200NS
                          2. CBR 250R
                          3. Duke 390

I have see the dyno figures of CBR250 which produces 24 odd horsepower and 19-19.5 torque at rear wheel. Company claims are 26HP and 22.9 torque.

Just interested in knowing the actual figures as against the company claims.

                          Cheers,
                          Sanjay

                              Hi Sanjay,
In general the following parameters independently ortogether affects the measurement accuracy.
                              >>
                              1.Engine Lube oil temperature
                              2.Engine Lube oil quantity
                              3.Engine coolant air velocity
                              4.Air-fuel ratio
                              5.Exhaust pressure
                              6.Exhaust temperature
                              7.Engine friction loss
                              8.Transmission loss
                              9.Tractive power round off error
                              10.ReferenceInflated pressure
                              11.Sliploss

hence it is possible to have differences in values.
