removed the fairing ,Didnt like the look so , got the fairing back on. Used Yezdi Headlamps and RX holders. The clamp to the speedo has to be modified.

      Coming to shocks:
If your front shock absorber springs are new , put a 10-15 bush inside the fork before putting back the spring. I used a rear axle nut of the old Kinetic Honda. rear is anyways adjustable.

      Tyres:
Currenlt using M45 4.00-18 at the back and Zapper y 3.00-18 on the front (since i wasnt able to find M45 for the front) M45 is handsdown the best tyre I have used on the ZMA. Sirac is also good , but lags in acceleration, which is already so low in the ZMA Removal of fairing and plonking a Round headlight is a DIY which might roughly take around 1.5-2 hour, but make sure u get the speedo clamp fabricated properly.

U can add a crash guard which is a direct fit(CBZ extreme, Stunner with the downward clamp and may be from impulse as well. Need to try the last option since the clearance between the fairing and the guard

        Nice work...
But IMHO front wind shield help in long distance riding.
And what about your front Indicators.

            Hi ... thanks Hackdrag.

            Some changes I have made:

            1. Tyres: Ceat Vertigo sport ... the bike is a bit unstable on wet road, slush, etc. (but those where with slow speeds; dont want to check for high-speeds though ) ... but cant be sure if its because of the tyres ... works well in normal conditions
            2. Handle: increased the height ... now lot more upright (for my height 5.10)
            3. Seat: Slight modification to suit the changed handle height ... but still not as good as i would prefer
            4. Others: crash-guard, pannier guard (simplified saree-guard type both sides), luggage rack in case of a pillion

More changes I wanting to make:
            1. better front shocks ... currently sucks ... and makes 'thud' sound even on very normal bumps and moderate speeds
            2. mono rear shocks. possible?
            3. rear brakes ... current brakes sucks BIG time! (mech did some jugad by filing the break liner to increase friction. works well for about 500-700 odd kms. but need a more reliable and long term solution)
            4. remove fairing and replacing it with something that doesn't make the bike look naked ... cant think of much here

the list gets longer here ... but with mostly stuff that are more cosmetic in nature

            Any ideas? anyone?

            Thanks!

Monoshock, not necessary.Let the bike stay naked for a while, you will grow to like it(i think I will). Can you post a photo of bike naked? Then we can think of some thing. Will 200 ns be good for this purpose?(I mean slight offroading)

                hahaha... GS, Triumph, Tenere, etc.
yes that a good dualpurpose bike. yes the power was great for do the long / short adventure.
but for me, good bike is Simply bike. its mean that we must understand and we can repair the bike when we've trouble maybe in the middle of jungle,

BMW GS is good bike, but when we have trouble with the ECU, and other electronical part, we can do to repair it with ownself? i don't think so.

india and indonesian market are not too have big diffrent due to the road condition.
believe me. Pulsar 220F can do for adventure, it becomes a super dualpurpose bike with some modification
and my pulsar multistrada 240F maybe one of the example...

and I can go everywhere with my PULSAR. Insya Allah i will go to India Next Year with my pulsar multistrada 240F, if the sponsor accept my proposal or, with my own money. Insha Allah

but, in the middle class. 400-600 cc.. KLR 650 Kawasaki for me is the best. easy maintenance, Light, Simply bike, fuel economic. but the "face" is realy ugly.. this statement is for me.. hehehe

                    From engine..
                    -Porting polish
                    -change the camshaft duration
-Stroke Up from 62.4mm (p220 stock) to 68,4 mm. how? just moving the "big end" 3mm and we'll get 6mm total movement. so the cylinder capacity now is 241 cc. bore x stroke = 67 x 68,4 .
-change the muffler to free flow with the right formula adjust the engine specification
-using pulsar 200 Pistons to make the compresion more higher now my compretion ratio is 10.5:1
                    -change the clutch springs
                    -adjust the ignition timing
                    i think is enough...

                    outside the engine.
                    -hyosung front shock.
                    -fz16 handlebar
                    -handguard alumunium acerbics replica
-front high windshield made by Syndicate Motor Indonesia
-Frame Slider special for pulsar made by Syndicate Motor indonesia
                    -engine cover by Syndicate motor
-Suzuki SV 650 rims. (asashi tec2) 3.5 and 4.5 inch. with dunlop sportmax tire 120/70/17-160/60/17 (kawasaki er6 oem tire)
                    -custom seats
                    -fz16 custom swingarm
-GIVI v35 side panniers with PLX monokey bracket
                    -HID lamp 35w 4300K

                    just it.

If you are eyeing to replace with a new fork assembly i say go for Impulse's front forks. Can be installed. T brackets etc might require few modifications. Theyre soft good for off roading. Or best you can do if pocket allows is to import or search for high travel performance USDs or forks.
Impulse suspension will hand out the best but get the sag will increase as those forks will carry more weight now as karizma is quite heavier than impulse.

If I'm not wrong Impulse fork pipes can be directly mounted on karizma fork bottle,No doubt they are good but not that impressive ,also karizma is way heavier than impulse .Right now I'm searching good imported forks (hope I'll get succeeded )
I even thought of using Duke forks they are neat, works neat but will not give suitable height which I'm planning .
There's other big concern is what to do with rear suspensions .

Impulse suspensions will work great. Yess karizma is heavy but that wont affect the suspension characterstics of impulse suspension when fitted on karizma. And if it does i suggest go for different or slightly stiffer spring rates. That will solve the peoblem. And if the pocket allows akways a performance imported suspension will surely work.
As per rear suspensions if youre plannig for a monoshock Duke's rear suspension will be the best.
