    So Lets Do It

    Thank you for your responce.

Since we call our selves, Xbhpieans, and we also agree to this fact, why don't we together with the Traffic police team and drive this funda of safe riding. Specially the areas that we are aware of these young riders want to prove thenselves.

If you all agree we can organise such a campaign.

So many times i have requested fellow bikers not to honk when its not needed. but some have said - 'Naya Naya driver hain lagta hain'. Most of the time i just don't spoil my mornings. so whenever somebody honks behind i just pull over and ask him to go, sometimes they get shocked - like what the Heck - why is allowing me to go? i just smile and let him go. But everybody here knows - people are really forgetting the road/traffic sense. When i will be back in mumbai, first thing i will do is - will have a xbhp sticker on my helmet and a message' wear helmets' for sure. I think we should have a small campaign 'Shabaz bhai' on roadside along with Traffic police (sundays) just to spread the awareness.

But like i always feel - 'life starts when you start riding' but along with it comes responsibility.

the reply " It is for us to cross the road ".

Nearly half in the class knew ,and raised their hand.
So my friend asked " How many of you get dropped by your Daddy in a Car "
Many of the pupils raised their hands.
My friend singled out one of them and asked " Tell me what RED light means "
Pat came the reply " Stop"..
he continued,.." What does Green Light mean "
        ..." you can go "
Encouraged by the replies he asked "What does Orange Light mean "
        .." GO FASTER "...
Heard it on xbho sometime before, it was RTO question too & the guy wrote Yellow light means Slow down & Start braking but surprisingly answer was wrong the Correct one was "GO FASTER"

Just superb. very wise decision 'Shahbaz bhai'. Although sometimes its difficult to keep such calm when somebody thinks that you are kind of racing with him. Sometimes i get so annoyed - u wont believe i just clap out of anger when some body cuts me or honks when not necesary.
You should have bowed your head down and said 'Rossi bhaiya tussi great ho' hehe. Be safe bro.

Yes It will take time, as we would need to rope in quite a few things cost and the time frame that we would need. we also need to mark the place where we need to do this the timing should be right etc...

well I'm signing of for the day now. Will get back tommorow.

lol Adding a sticker on the front visor is just not enough. We need a lot more effort to spread Safe riding and helmet awareness. I'd like to share my own experience. I am just a commuter got my license few months back and i've to say its just isn't strict enough. I paid money i don't remember the exact amount but the training i got from the driving school was in fact NIL. All they had was an old rusty M80 as they call it.. We release clutch and it goes around and do the "8" done! you get your license. This is what happens here in kerala at least a 100 people must have got their two wheeler license that day. No wonder there are a lot of clowns on the roads! Nobody is doing their part on spreading or educating the public on how to safely ride a vehicle on the road. I'm happy that xbhp is Promoting Safe Riding and Helmet Awareness
PS: happy to be a part of this community
