2009 Speculation thread: What bikes could be launched?
Hey, Its my first thread. Lets use this thread to display info about upcoming bikes of 2009, their features, their pics etc... To start up with lets talk about the HH's upcoming models (13 bikes in 11 months) or BAJAJ's 'A bike A month' strategy or Suzuki or Yamaha. Whatever it is, It would be great to find it first on xbhp !!Last edited by Aryan; 12-13-2008, 05:11 PM.From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp. -

TVS to speed up sales with four launches- Auto-News By Industry-News-The Economic TimesTVS Motor marketing head HS Goindi said: “There are various products in the pipeline, which will hit the market in the next three-nine months. With its No.2 position being occupied by Honda and TVS rolling out competitive models, Bajaj surely is having a tough time.Last edited by fast_ferocious; 12-13-2008, 06:40 PM.From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

ok am not trying to fire a controversy by giving a wrong news through this post. but this is what i saw yesterday. i was riding along arcot road vadapalani here in chennai and i see this guy dressed in a black tvs jacket with FLAME written on its back, i go closer and find that he is riding a black apache rtr, i went near and saw the engine from the left hand side the head portion was completely different from the stock RTR, that is it had a blanked out portion near the top end which is not what it looks on a rtr160 but it was not a twin cam. i see the rear panels and it has no stickers qouting its cc. the place where it is usually written rtr160 or Fi etc. then the guy take's a Uturn at a junction before i can take a second look and speeds away. i came to the conclusion that its the 180cc bike being tested because, this is the same place i have seen the TVS "neo" underbone and flame 125 being ridden by tvs test person in a similar attire and taking a U turn at the same busy intersection. may be some ppl like joel joe and santoosh from bangalore can help.RIP - VARUN 7.2.2011

May be a 4 valve head Flame. Never know what TVS has in store for us, but presumably it's a 180cc bike. Any idea about the size of the bike as in comparison to the RTR 160??Originally posted by badriyan View Postok am not trying to fire a controversy by giving a wrong news through this post. but this is what i saw yesterday. i was riding along arcot road vadapalani here in chennai and i see this guy dressed in a black tvs jacket with FLAME written on its back, i go closer and find that he is riding a black apache rtr, i went near and saw the engine from the left hand side the head portion was completely different from the stock RTR, that is it had a blanked out portion near the top end which is not what it looks on a rtr160 but it was not a twin cam. i see the rear panels and it has no stickers qouting its cc. the place where it is usually written rtr160 or Fi etc. then the guy take's a Uturn at a junction before i can take a second look and speeds away. i came to the conclusion that its the 180cc bike being tested because, this is the same place i have seen the TVS "neo" underbone and flame 125 being ridden by tvs test person in a similar attire and taking a U turn at the same busy intersection. may be some ppl like joel joe and santoosh from bangalore can help.
