Must know information about TVS Apache RTR 180 MENACE

    @samarth - Dude you go to a lame dealer (damn, he is not the TVS R&D head) and ask him questions. God knows how much he is educated to understand technicals and what info he has got.
    Also before a product launch, the dealers are never given any detailed info on the new model unless the launch date is too close. Then again there are moron everywhere who talk crap, so this one of it.
    You come here and interpret what some lame guy said. So if a Bajaj dealer told you that the new p220 can make 30bhp and its world class would u believe?

    I thought we are all mature individuals. This is purely kiddish.

    All the discussions about the RTR 180 is damn funny. Its nice to get some good laugh!

      I get the impression you know way more than what you're allowed to spill onto the internet. So without spilling the beans, can you tell us if the hype is anywhere close? Will it be anything like the R15 or P220 in features and performance? And does it indeed compete with those two?

        But what else can one discuss (speculate) about the Apache RTR 180?

        As far as I know apart from XBHP (the others have just copy pasted the stuff posted here, that too without giving any credit) there has been no "official" news /mention anywhere about any RTR 180 (or Menace) from TVS..

        I definitely remember reading somewhere in XBHP (don't remember if it was before the server crash) that the new 180 from TVS is benchmarking the P220 for "Top Speed" as the R15 did not make the cut.

            ok, the hype here seems to be way too much than needed. Half fairing, projector lamps, etc etc...
            All that its intended to do is perform better than its competitors and an offering which is very competitively priced. So at the cost of affording an FZ, you get a 180cc machine which has the potential to beat bikes which are a lot more pricey.
            If the RTR180 will be faster than the P220 or R15, thats for later.

              The 180 will not be Fi'ed. TVS is taking one step at a time. Its only the 160 which will be sold in Fi. The 180 will be carb'ed. They might intro the Fi version after the product stabilizes.

                    Any news on when the Bike will be launched...? I am so broke now! but am hoping to save enough for the RTR.

                    I might have to let go my RTR for now may buy a FI or this sometime later

                                Thats coz unlike Bajaj, TVS keeps their products well masked before their launches. The pics will be out just a little before the launch for sure.
