    Hi guys i have been frusted waiting for this bike and i have booked an yellow apache rtr 160 FI. I will be mainly using it for city commute for my office to home. This is my first bike. Did i lose a lot by not waiting for RTR 180 except in terms of power?

      We do not know much yet so its hard to say as of now, but rest assured you will be damn happy with the 160 too!

        Thanks mzone for your encouraging response buying a bike was a long dream i actually started thinking abt buying pulsar 220 and waited for long by the time it was released i was in dubai hence dropped that later was aiming at r-15 but felt too expensive and thought rtr fi is the best bet for my budget and city riding. Hence i went for this bike . I will be getting the delivery of the bike today evening.

            i think you did a right thing by booking the rtr fi. even i am frustrated waiting for the rtr 180 because i am planning to change my apache 150 pretty soon. well anyways i am sure you will enjoy the bike. ride sensibly with all the riding gears.

              Thanks addyrulz, in your case i feel u could wait for few more days as u already have a bike but i dont have any and i need a bike very badly for my commute.

                I want to replace my longstanding HH CBZ....wanted to get a more powerful bike...initial options were P200/P220...but thought i would wait after i heard about Apache 180...its been rather a long wait....hope it is worth all this.

                  well yes that is the reason i am waiting a bit more. i was hoping that yamaha would launch a more powerful or atleast a tweaked R15 so that i can go for it, but nothing till now. lets see what happens next

                      The festive season is due soon in April... maybe we can expect a few new launches soon..

                      the new P200 is probably getting a new set of clothes (also possibily a performance bump as well).. does this in any way upset the RTR 180 plans of TVS..?? and hence the delay..??

                            P200 has got a power bump already right? acc. to BI - up form 18ps to 19ps?

                            Anyways, i dont think thats the reason for the delay. btw, there a small upgrades in store for some other vehicles in the TVS stable in the coming months.

                              ^no way the pulsars can upset RTR 180...TVS, they are looking up on yamaha now...whateva the bump in performance the bajaj is just a street bike,so the TVS jus needa make sure that they get the styling rite atleast for the sake of our public...
