Before this causes more panic.... PS the RTR250FX has got very little to do with Apache RTR,

        That perf kit... ah...

                • And, looks like we missed this article for a few days! See, Team-BHP to IndianBikers to xBhp

Don't think this is confirmed news (as an obvious spec is differed) but a good list of specs...

TVS Apache RTR 180cc - Menace - IndianBikers.co.ccyear 2009. By increasing the engine strength, this will enter the competition against Pulsar 200cc and Yamaha FZ 16, as the expected eprice is around Rs.78,000 - 80,000.
According to TeamBHP, the bike will retain the basic lines of the current RTR, retaining the basic look of the current Apache. But with no front scoop this time. And for a good reason too, the front is now going to house a semi-full faring that will expose part of the engine and give the bike a sport look. The bike will have a digital speedometer with top speed, 0-60 timer, trips, and other extra functionality plus stunning looks.

                    • The specs are bullshit, coz I know the actual specs byheart
This is just a cropped-up spec sheet of the RTR 160. Btw, when did RTR have a 240mm disc upfront?

                            • They didn't mention about the performance kit specs but the bike was very much there and according to those who have ridden it they were simply blown away!! This is a pic which i found in one of orkut member's album!!

And this was what they showcased during the Auto Expo!!

If the figures are anything to go by, then the kit would make the RTR the fastest production bike in India!!
